Relocate if finances and visas weren’t a concern? Say you had a job offer that took care of the usual barriers. And say you could choose the country. Despite our many issues I feel very thankful to live in America. There seems to be more personal freedom compared to other first-world countries, and we don’t have near the level of crime as South America, Africa, etc… The only place that appeals to me somewhat is New Zealand. John Little makes Taiwan sound like a decent place, but I don’t know if I could handle the cultural differences. I mean I felt out of place enough when I lived in MN and everyone asked, “Where are you from?” . I’m from Virginia, btw but I didn’t think I had much of an accent. Apparently they did! 😂.

January 26, 2018 at 6:45 pm #5855No to be honest, I quite regularly thank God that I was born in Australia in Sydney actually, but now live near the western border beneath the escarpment. I would like to move as it is getting very polluted but have no idea where I want to settle in my retirement years. So I keep reminding my heavenly Father that I will go where He thinks best when the time comes. Until quite recently it was a wonderful country to live in but now we are unfortunately following the way of the world & suddenly things are changing rapidly & my Australia is fast becoming a wonderful memory. I don’t understand why the younger generation want to change our country except when I read Romans chp 1 from verse 18 & it becomes very clear. We have also developed rot inside our Parliament so this is not good at all for our country. Our churches are largely asleep, so that is probably why our country is going downhill so quickly & catching up with the rest of the world. I think if I was to choose to live anywhere else in the world it would be Israel as for some reason I feel that it would be very safe living in Jerusalem. Blessings
January 26, 2018 at 11:14 pm #5861I am happy to live in New Zealand. There is nowhere else I would rather live than here. But like Louise Brislane has said about Australia…. I feel like that about NZ too! Our once awesome country is now asleep, full of money hungry egotists, and godlessness. It was always there to a point, but is worse now than it was in the past. But it’s still a lovely country. Green with great beaches, mountains and lakes, and a climate that is not too extreme in the hot or cold department most of the time.
A Minute to Midnite Administration
A Minute To Midnite Show HostJanuary 27, 2018 at 5:17 am #5863I feel the same about America that Louise feels about her country. Not just the way it used to be but the corrupt and immoral way things are here right now. But I don’t want to change countries. However my husband and I are thinking about moving to Mississippi to a more rural location and start a homestead. And Tony I have always thought New Zealand looks lovely and would probably agree with you if I lived there and just stay there. To be honest with everyone I don’t think we are going to find a place that is not effected by the craziness of the world.
March 30, 2018 at 7:13 pm #6584I think it’s a very interesting question to ask I live in Australia and we’ve been making decisions more notable recently about what we believe morally which not only are leading us down a dark path but there is such an acceleration toward anti-Christ world system which for a nation founded on Christian principals is a real concern all I know for those who believe we long for a continuing city we see the stark difference today and it grieves us as for me I’d be happy to be wherever the Lord plants me
August 1, 2018 at 3:37 pm #8088@KathyHodges you go right ahead and move to MS, though you might want to keep central – East. Avoid the Delta, anywhere near Jackson, the coast, and Northern. Central- East is still very rural, maybe somewhere near Amory. I’m originally from Tupelo. Buy you some acres and start yourself a farm. I don’t know where you’re from, but be prepared for Amazon Rainforest sweat sapping humidity, vampire demon mosquitoes, and tornaders. 😉
