Two Prophetic Dreams – Great Losses Returned; Freedom and Joy in the Millennial Reign
By Joanie Stahl (January 2018)
I had these two dreams and I believe with ALL of my heart they must be released to the Body of Christ. These dreams are from Jesus. They are announcing the very soon appearing of His Millennial Kingdom. It is rich in imagery and full of glory, hope, and encouragement for us all. These are not directed only to me, but personalized to the entire family of God … The Children of God.
Dream 1 – December 25, 2017
In my dream, I saw myself in an enormous house. It was a big two-story home. It was well lived in because I saw comfortable furniture and things that belong inside a home with life in it. The lighting was low and comforting. Everything in that home was meant to be accommodating to those within it. The house had been around quite some time by the looks of it. I knew that I was a guest there or something like that. As I walked all around and upstairs, I realized that I was not the only one who was staying there.
Many people of all ages were there – men, women, and young people. They were all separate from one another. No two people were together. Everyone was walking around or sitting alone. Everyone’s heads were hanging low, and I realized that every person was in deep mourning. No one spoke as they all kept to themselves in great sorrow. Though I did not know anyone, I knew that each person was suffering losses of every kind.
I had no idea what those losses were, but they had to have been devastating, traumatic losses. I knew that each one was there to mourn. I then realized that I too was there to mourn. I felt a great mourning come over me. I found a room upstairs. It felt that it was way at the top story in a very small, dimly lit room.
As I walked around, I each person, one by one begin to lift up their faces with extreme joy and tears of great thanksgiving because they each were given back what they thought was gone forever. I was not shown what it was they lost and were given back. I did see a man go to each one of them and directly give them back what they lost. Some had losses that were recent while others had losses that were from long, long ago. It was so beautiful because what they were given back was what they longed for and grieved over, thinking they would never see it or have it back again.
Then a wave of great grief and immense deep sorrow overwhelmed me, and I fell down on my knees in sadness so intense. I mourned for my husband who was off in a long war. I heavily grieved because I did not know if I would ever see him again, and missed him powerfully.
As soon as I fell down, there was someone standing next to me dressed in a simple white robe and he laid his hand upon me. I did not look up, but only saw his feet and felt his hand upon me.
I lifted up my face, with my eyes shut tightly. I sobbed heavily, with waves of cries to God. As soon as I opened up my mouth to cry out to God in prayer, the power of the Holy Spirit filled my being. In great shouting and crying, I began to shout out in tongues to God. I KNEW that He was listening and that the prayer prayed out to Him was by the Holy Spirit, even though I was present in all aspects of myself. I knew that He was praying the prayer in me.
I felt the prayer was going directly to God Himself and felt His presence directly before me. This caused me to belt it out even more, going along with the Holy Spirit. The prayer ended. As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw a man appear and begin walking towards me. He was a well-worn soldier who had just gotten back from the heavy long protracted battle. He was full of scars, sweat, and dirt from the war. He had on a white shirt, which seemed interesting. He was young looking with brown hair and loving brown eyes. He even had a sweet smile on his face. He was too young to be my husband, being that we are both in our upper years.
His countenance was full of peace … Real loving peace and gentleness. He approached me so softly and I stood up, threw my arms around him, and held him with all my might. I sobbed now, but this time only with tears of great joy that he came back to me. I was completely comforted, so much that no words can possibly describe it. I had a mighty peace within and rejoiced in my spirit.
I felt alive and so happy that I thought I would go outside and walk around in the warm morning sun. I went out of the door that led to a big, old, and mature garden. It was not a perfect garden but it was full of trees, bushes, plants, and things that had grown there for many years.
I felt so good, happy, and so light. As if I had come out of a heavy darkness and losses, only to be breathing in new, fresh air. I lifted up my face with my eyes closed to receive the golden liquid sun upon my face. I opened my eyes and continued to walk slowly. I walked by an old rustic looking white brick wall, and saw a very old woman with pure white hair in a little bun and glasses. She wore a little white sweater and was on the other side of the wall. She was marching back and forth with her hands in the air praising and shouting great praise to the Lord Jesus Christ, and thanking Him with loud shouts of joy.
I stopped and looked over the wall, and realized that the man had just given her something back that she had lost long ago. She could not believe it. In fact, every mourner that received something back from the man could not believe it. As I watched her rejoice in the Lord, behind her was a big grassy field and trees. In the field, there was a man standing there with his hands in his pockets and his head was hanging very low. He was a very sad man.
Just then, I looked to the right and in the short distance, I saw that man release a puppy from his hands. The puppy ran with all its might to the sad man. The man’s face was instantly filled with extreme joy. His mouth opened wide with wonderful, shocking surprise, and he knelt down with his arms stretched out forward to receive the puppy. He was beyond happy. He held that little dog with all his might and loved it so much.
I understood that the moment that man released the little puppy, he had lost his former dog of many years and was deeply mourning the absence of it. The breed of the little puppy was the very same breed he previously owned. He was now holding a brand new life, a new start with the very same thing he cherished and adored. The thing he had loved for years, and lost.
I stood there in awe and so full of joy.
I am working out more of the interpretation, but for now I will write what I know.
The big house I was in was none other but “the house of mourning”. The old comfortableness of it indicated that it has been a long time in use for those that mourn. The enormous size means that there are many that are suffering and mourning losses that are too great for them to handle. In essence, this is a special house of the Lord for those that mourn. Its comfort and well lived in also reveals the comfort of the Father. His has a house [His house] to give to all that are suffering losses too grievous to bear.
The fact that everyone were guests means that no one is meant to remain living there or to keep as their permanent residence. All ages, male and female, relates to the reality that suffering losses happens to everyone no matter what age or stature.
Their being solitary reveals the depth of their suffering. The deeper the suffering, the more alone one feels as they are crushed in spirit.
One by one the man in my dreams was going to each personally (remember I did not know what their losses were). Only he knew and that is why I think he went to them in a very direct personal manner. Each one was given back what they lost and were in disbelief because the return of those great losses to them were not recoupable.
Then I realized that everyone was restored but me. The Holy Spirit took over and prayed the prayer with groans, too deep for human words. The young man that returned to me I think represented the Lord who has been out fighting my battles. He returned to comfort me. (I will think on this more later).
The going forth out into the garden to soak in the warm sun and breath in fresh air means restoration. The man with the loss of his dog, only to receive a puppy, means a new start for him too. He loved this new little life and rejoiced with great rejoicing. He held on to this puppy tightly. The same for the very old woman; she waited her entire life to finally receive from the hand of the man what she had lost so long ago. That is why her rejoicing was so great.
In closing, I believe that the Lord is showing me that everyone that has been suffering great losses, either recently or from long ago will be fully restored in ways that only Jesus can restore. He is going to give back to everyone who has been under the Father’s roof in the house of mourning. He will give back what they lost and thought could never have or see again.
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” ~ Revelation 21:3-5, KJV.
Dream 2 – December 26, 2017
In this dream, again I saw myself in a house. It was so clean. It had bright white walls and very large windows everywhere letting in the full, warm, brightness of the sun. The light that was beaming into the house was a refreshing light. Let me try to explain.
The feeling was like when there is a very long winter and all has been dark, cold, and dead. Suddenly, the days of spring arrive that we are all familiar with. It is a time where we all know that “winter is past.” The sun begins shining in new birth glory, full of brilliance and radiating upon all the land, announcing its new season – that fresh, pure, new warm and pristine light like “clear shining’s after the rain.”
I stood in the house, and looked around and all was spotless as if no one had ever lived in it. I was with the man [heavenly representative] that is in most of my dreams. As if he was showing it to me, I looked up and breathed deeply. I breathed in the new air. Even the air seemed so pure and so clean. I looked out of the windows and in every direction was the beautiful, golden sunlight, shining on the waters as if there were no shadows anywhere. All was light, purity, newness, and freshness, and all of this entered into my soul.
Just then, a couple of people entered the house. It was a man and woman who were of Indian race (from India). They were full of great joy. Their faces were beaming with such a happiness. They motioned for us (the man and me) to follow them. We walked out of the house and followed them outside. As we did, I looked around at all the beauty of the land and drank it in deeply into my soul.
The Indian couple walked on ahead of us upon a pier. We were walking closely behind them. I noticed that the pier was low to the water. The sky and the sea were so blue, so refreshing, so full of clear interchanging colors of every green and blues, and it was such clear waters.
There was a dog with us on the pier. It was a medium size dog. I stopped to look at it because it stopped to look out over the waters. I noticed its face, particularly its eyes. There was a depth to them. I saw his face and eyes as though it was taking in the beauty of the waters the same way I had been. Yet, there was something more … Something much deeper.
I say this because there was a different look on his face, more than just that of a dog enjoying a sunny day. I saw that it was well aware that the day was different. It was a brand new day and it knew it. It leaped for joy over the side of the pier into the water.
I watched it slowly swim through the water. Again, not like a dog who just jumps in and paddles around. I saw its soul. I saw it moving through the waters and its soul was drinking in the newness and the freshness, the freedom of it. As if we would do after being held down and bound for all our lives, only to have the day of release granted to us as we walk out of that prison house totally free.
I then saw another little dog. It appeared on the pier like the other one and it looked at the water. I watched its face the same way. I saw its eyes and their depth, along with the realization of a freedom. It leapt off the edge of the pier and into the water and swam in the refreshing waters. I saw that the joy and release was entering into its soul, as it swam slowly through the waters. I marveled at this because the thing I want to make clear is that these animals were different and they looked different. They were beautiful and alive as if I have never seen any animal in all my life.
What I believe is that this entire dream represents the Kingdom of Jesus that is so near that He is giving me a peek into it, and our reward. That is very near now to come. The house full of white and light only stand to represent the holiness and purity of “the saints in light”. The joyful Indian couple represent that all nations that have served the Lord Jesus Christ are all going to be joining us in that great day or our entering in.
The warm sun and brilliance is the light of the Son and His new day of the Millennial Reign. The entire environment, waters, skies, and land is the Millennial land we will all soon enjoy.
Our all walking freely, full of happiness and great joy reveals our war being over, the victory won, and our reward. We will walk in the “light of the Son”.
The dogs represent all the creature animals that were brought under the curse of the earth, now set free. They were released from it, no longer in bondage to it, but will be as free as all of us will be. There will be no more control or bondage to us or them, each creature enjoying the glorious liberty.
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they [the animal kingdom], but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” ~ Romans 8:19-23, KJV.
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together: and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” ~ Isaiah 11:6-9, KJV.
“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.” ~ Joel 2:22, KJV.
“And in that day will I make a covenant for them, with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.” ~Hosea 2:18, KJV.
