Relocate if finances and visas weren't a concern? Say you had a job offer that took care of the usual barriers. And say you could choose the country. Despite our many issues I feel very thankful to live in America. There seems to be more personal freedom compared to other first-world countries, and we don't have near the level of crime as South America, Africa, etc... The only place that appeals to me somewhat is New Zealand. John Little makes Taiwan sound like a decent place, but I don't know if I could handle the cultural differences. I mean I felt out of place enough when I lived in MN and everyone asked, "Where are you from?" . I'm from Virginia, btw but I didn't think I had much of an accent. Apparently they did! 😂.
