This is a tough article to read. Someone dying without Jesus has to be one of the saddest thoughts I can think, and then you add their delusion to it, and it’s almost unbearable. One girl said she experienced “nothingness” both times her heart stopped. This perpetrates the lie that death is the end; it validates her believe that this life is all you get. Why believe in God when you “know” there is nothing else out there? So, so very sad.
There’s an interesting parallel to what the one girl said she experienced (nothingness) with a scene in Game of Thrones. A character, Jon Snow, was killed and brought back to life. When asked what he experienced he said “nothing.”
This is one of the most popular shows on tv, world-wide, and I wonder if she was influenced by it? I wonder how many all over the world are negatively influenced by it?
The very sad fact is that millions base their after life ideas by tv shows and movies, all which are made by Christ-haters. I felt sad when I read this story and the lost state they were in. Actually horrifying.
Angela, all my Christian life I have read stories like these. People who life after death experiences that were lost souls. All of which say the exact same things. The Lord allowed them to come back by His mercies for another chance to receive salvation.
