My comment….it’s certainly hot for NZ! With next the next few days expected to be even hotter. For the Americans reading this- that’s temperatures in the 90’s° F and predicted over 100° in some places. That may not be excessive in the USA- but here it’s about as hot as it ever gets!

Sweltering heat has continued to bake New Zealand on Saturday, with Wanaka reaching 35degC.

There’s a warning for those struggling to cope, with forecasters warning it will get hotter before it gets cooler.

Heatwave expected to bring hot days and warm muggy nights

January is shaping up to be the hottest in recorded history.

Climate scientist Jim Salinger said if the average temperature for the month slides up just half a degree it may be the hottest month in recorded history.

The national average January temperature is 17.1C.

Before the coming southern heatwave the average was sitting at 19.3C making it the hottest ever.

Tony welcome to the heat wave, we have been living in muggy 35 to 40 C heat for the past week, wouldn’t be so bad if the nights would cool down like they used to but it is 25 C at night with unusual clouds. Thinking that we may miss the full moon on the 29th just like we miss every other thing happening in the night skies because of the constant cloud cover. My daughter told me that we may be getting rain at the end of this coming week but I am not holding my breath as we live around 70 kilometres in from the coast so the rain is probably meant for upto 30 kilometres in only. In other words coastal rain & only Sydney proper gets it, not the outer western suburbs. Which basically means no water for the Warragamba catchment area which is our only major dam for the Sydney Basin.

Wow!!! Sorry about the abnormal heat, Louise and Tony. Our weather in South Texas has returned to mostly normal, but I still consider the constant cloud cover to be abnormal. Every time I see it, I pray that any weather manipulation will cease, that the equipment of the weather manipulators will break, that they won’t have any equipment to replace it, that their communication lines will be broken, and that their operations will experience chaos and that their funding and resources will be all together gone. I know some clouds are normal, but I’m resisting the abnormal part. I also pray that we all may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy, giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light. (Col 1:11,12) We are going to need to be patient and steadfast to keep resisting those “playing God” in these uncertain days.

What a great prayer Rene! I will join you in that prayer and if more join in we might be able to sabotage their evil activities! I have noticed when it is cloudy here the clouds look dirty, if that makes any sense. Almost brown tint to them. Weird.

Sometimes I wonder if they make a bigger deal out of the high temperatures than is warranted though. It is pretty hot. Yesterday it was 86°F ( 30°C ) and today is expected the same temperature. It is staying hot all night too. Some other parts of NZ are due to get quite a bit hotter than that. Last year we pretty much didn’t have a summer at all, and this year it is the opposite. But as to whether it is truly the hottest January on record in NZ – or if they doctor the records and figures to suit the agenda of pumping a “global warming” narrative may be another story. Yes it is hot here, but I am not convinced it is as abnormal as they try to make it seem. Maybe Australia is different, but I am suspecting that this is more like 1970’s summers were.

Our weather was very, very nice today, thank You Jesus! No clouds or extreme wind and temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s F…
and thank you, Kathy, for joining in with me to resist weather manipulation.
