What are your thoughts on the timing of Rapture? While the Bible clearly states that “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” (Matt. 24:36), Jesus’ words were in response to the disciples’ questions about when He was going to return. Jesus used a well-known phrase in His response that Jews knew well concerning the Feast of Trumpets, when the Jewish new year would be declared. The Jewish new year literally came on a “day and hour no one knows,” and had to be declared – by the “last trump” of the Temple priests – when the year officially began. Knowing that Jesus LITERALLY fulfilled the Spring feasts in His first coming (Passover – crucifixion, Unleavened Bread – burial, First Fruits – resurrection, Pentecost – giving of the Holy Spirit), will He as a sign to the Jews today also LITERALLY fulfill the Fall feasts for the Rapture, Tribulation Period, and Millennial Kingdom (Trumpets – Rapture, Day of Atonement – Tribulation Period, Tabernacles – Millennial Kingdom)? Keep in mind that the Feast of Trumpets is a two day feast, and without a Temple presently to declare the new year, the Jews just call it on the second day. No one knows the day and hour. Could it be that the Rapture could come this September during the Rosh Ha’Shanah (or Yom Teruah) feast occurs? Exciting to contemplate. And for you Shemitah fans, this is Jewish year 5782 – starting year of a new Shemitah which will end in a year of Jubilee.
