The article by Joan “A New Perspective into the Laodicean Church” I can only sum up in these words: jolting, stunning, shocking, cutting, blaring, penetrating, vivid, clarion, critical, riveting. How it was emphasized of Christ’s revulsion in minute detail regarding a church organization full of un-regenerated folks and extremely backslidden Christians was….well breath taking. I shook as I peered into the mirror of my heart and felt as if someone had struck me across the face to awaken me. Just yesterday my wife and I spoke at great length on this very subject as we shared with each other what it is like to be dry bones living in the valley of dry bones. Two other things that I was pricked about was the importance of controlling ones tongue. We set the tone most times of negative or positive in our living but the words we utter about ourselves…especially in the face of a failure. The other thing that was really highlighted was Christ’s emphasis of the finality and of things winding down as we see world events unfolding at a rapid rate as never before in history. For me it set me quaking from the blinding flashing emergency lights and screaming alarm sirens urging me to shake the dust off my feet, fill my lamp to full, fall upon Jesus the rock to be broken in heart for the lost that are at every turn around me and of whom I have lost a real active compassion for their souls. This message was birthed by the Spirit of God in my opinion. Thank you for setting the trumpet to thy lips!
Thanks Vlad. Here is the article if others want to go read it
