Tech Giants Google and Facebook are currently purging conservative content from Facebook and YouTube — They are hiding conservative stories on Google — They are shadow-banning conservative news on all social media.

In February Facebook launched a new algorithm to ensure that conservative news would not spread on the social media platform. The algorithm change caused President Donald Trump’s engagement on Facebook posts to plummet a whopping 45%.

Facebook has just jailed me from posting in any groups that “I don’t manage” till Sunday. No reason given AGAIN…..but I can still post in A Minute to Midnite FB group ( since along with Brook Johnson Ardoin and Joanie Stahl I manage that one). But no other groups can I post or comment in. That’s different from my 5 other FB jail times that I have had, where I couldn’t post in any groups including the A Minute to Midnite group. It is more blatant censorship folks! No reason given for the action by the FaceNazis or maybe I should call them FaceCommo’s.

Facebook’s ‘Secret’ File on You Is Bigger Than You Think — Here’s How to View It

Facebook’s user data gathering prowess has been common knowledge for some time now, but one journalist’s impromptu experiment suggests it is even more ubiquitous and pervasive than previously believed. Nick Whigham, a reporter for the New Zealand Herald, decided to test out a feature on Facebook that allows users to download a ‘secret’ file showing how much personal history the company has gathered about them. What he discovered is that Facebook not only has disturbingly vast consumer profiles on all 1.4 billion daily users but also tracks the internet movement and personalities of people who don’t even log into the website.

European Union Demands Google, Facebook Step Up Internet Censorship

In a new attack on free speech, the European Union (EU) is calling on major social media and Internet firms including Facebook, Twitter and Google to automatically and immediately censor online material.

On March 1, the EU Commission called on companies and EU states to ensure “the detection and removal of illegal content through reactive (so called ‘notice and action’) or proactive measures.” It also identified a vast amount of material targeted for censorship. According to the Commission, its recommendations apply to all forms of “content ranging from terrorist content, incitement to hatred and violence, child sexual abuse material, counterfeit products and copyright infringement.”
