Rien Poortvliet, draughtsman and painter

Apart from all insanity and mayhem 2019 is promising us, it´s good to look at truly beautiful things once in a while.
I don´t know how well-known the Dutch artist Rien Poortvliet is in your respective countries, but he was probably the best wildlife artist ever. If you have a couple of minutes just watch this selection of his work:

Being a fellow brother in Christ, he created two amazing books with Biblical content which also had English releases: „He was one of us“ (about the life of Jesus) and „Noah´s Ark“. As far as I can see on Amazon, they´re often pretty cheap (though it may depend on the market). Great stuff, highly recommended.

Moritz, I’m not familiar with Rien although I did take Art History at school for a couple of Years, his landscapes are amazing.
