I will preface my following remarks with these words about myself. I am a Canadian born man in his 63rd year. I lived and worked in the U.S.A. for 40 years and 22 years in Canada. I have been a business owner, retailer, preacher, meat cutter, steel mill worker, lodge maintenance man, husband, father, Christian, heathen, and scribbler of yarns and verse. My remarks are concerning America. My usual signature for my scribbling is “Balaam’s Ass”.

There is a time and a season for everything under heaven. For a very long time the thought and concept of “context” has occupied my mind when considering man’s actions and various decisions. Man’s life style and actions just don’t jive with the actual country and world conditions. It is more so of an interest to me when I consider the Christian church and its leaders. I am of the belief that for the most part the vast majority are totally out of step with the day and hour in which we are living. That is today….their actions and message is “out of context” in view of the country and world moral, economical and political state of affairs. We as a country and world seem to be in a rapid free fall spiraling headlong into a very dark deranged and demonic abyss. It truly seems to me that we have been overtaken by an environment that has left the huge majority of humanity devoid of rational thinking and reasoning. We seem to be oblivious to the actual state of things going on and how utterly out of control society is getting. There is no way to adequately describe or explain the state of politics, economies, religion, pollution, food and water quality, the elite calling the shots, and the many vices of man that are absolutely exploding without any restraint what so ever. My main concern is where and what is the so called Christian church and its leadership in all this.
I often find it best to make my point clearest by painting a picture and giving examples of what I am trying to communicate. Thus, I will begin by doing so concerning my astonishment, concern and disbelief of the condition of the Christian church and its leadership primarily in the North American continent. Without addressing Europe/Britain and the formerly Christian Scandinavian countries.
In my own community I have attended a United Church of Canada to discover the preacher was a lesbian living with her lover. The lay speaker in the church referred to God as mother and woman.
I have attended a Pentecostal church where I was ignored during the 3 times I attended. Where the pastor and congregation went into a 3 to 4 hundred thousand dollar debt for a building expansion where everyone already had a seat and there was still room for a few more and this in a town of 1800 that a few years ago had a population of 5000 before it began its decline. And where it seemed like a holier than thou click. I have worked with a Catholic man who is part of a generational Catholic family that attends church weekly but listens to Howard Stern on radio spew the most vulgar, disgusting, wicked and perverted content over the airwaves without batting an eye from conviction. I have shopped in a local business where the owners were church leaders (i.e. usher and worship leader) to hear Godless secular music declaring and glorifying sin of every kind over the intercom system all day long each day of the week in their store. Never any religious music playing and never a greeting or thank you for my purchase. I once attended a Free Methodist church with a wonderful real Christian pastor. However he retired in his 70’s and was replaced by a young minister and wife only to be removed because it was discovered he was spending his time viewing porn on the church computer in his office. I see also we have a new movement coming out of the Bethel church in California called Christalignment and using “destiny reading cards” (think tarot) as part of personal ministry growth. I have attended a new break away church that is charismatic that spend all their time talking about sports, work, their purchases, themselves, and constant joke telling before and after the sermon. Never once in the several weeks I’ve attended have I heard or sensed a longing or interest in living for God. Obeying God. Serving God. Encouraging each other in their faith walk. Repentance and humility seem to be foreign concepts. It seems to be another click of old friends. All sound and appear to be worldly secular lukewarm materialistic and vastly overweight religious people. Not to say they are not “good or nice” people. I mean we are all just flawed humans but…..I see no evidence of spiritual hunger, ache or longing for the things of God and getting ones house in order both spiritually and physically for the hell that is about to fall on our country and world. No one seems to see or take the state of things seriously. Too many think sooner or later things will get better and back to normal. America will lead the way bla bla bla. The Canadian Liberals will spend enough money to stimulate our economy to greater heights yada yada.
Judgement is taking place and is about to be unleashed in ways that no one living today in this country could begin to imagine. I want to know where the hell is leadership?? Why are the obese Christian zombies waddling around giving 30 minute seromnets instead of roaring warnings from the pulpits and calling the sheep to repent, cry out to God for mercy and an awakening for the body of Christ and lost world/country/town! The bible says we/man speaks from the abundance of his heart. Well…I hear about position, material possessions, successful lives and careers, and non stop joking of which some of it is shocking. I often think to myself when I hear the constant joking in church….even during the sermon….what Paul taught. Shun profane and foolish babbling as it increases ungodliness were his instructions in II Timothy. And in his letter to the Ephesians he wrote let not all uncleanness, filthiness, foolish talking and jesting to be named among them as it is not becoming of saints but rather give thanks to God. Hmmmm. Something does not add up.
I thought leaders were to be able to properly rule their own households. To have children under control, obedient and well mannered….I paraphrase. Our local Pentecostal preacher had a son graduating from high school and who gave a graduating speech to the community. In it he addressed his school mates and said “I don’t have any war stories from the trenches from playing hockey and football. But I did learn to speak 4 languages while you all were out smoking dope and giving blow jobs”. Hmmmm, something does not add up. In spite of my wretchedness and lowly self I often feel like Lot. I am vexed daily by the vulgar, course, worldly, rude and cruel conversation I hear endlessly gushing from the mouths of children, adults and old grandmas and grandpas. Often it is the fine Christian community as well. I am so weary of feeling like an alien in my own country. Where is discipline, order, psalms, hymns, reverence, holiness, intercessory prayer and Godly yearning in our churches??? I often pray “Dear God, I beg you to have mercy on me and breathe your breath of Life over these dry bones of mine so that I might live again”.
I am convinced that the love of God is all that can save us from total and complete ruin. This love must and will take the form of judgement. Only when we are brought to our knees in times of worldly loss and or in times of loss of health and peace will some wake up, repent and cry out to God for our back sliding, willful sins, utter disconcern for the unsaved, ungratefulness, disobedience and loss of reverence for a holy God. Judgement will be our only salvation. That is all that can wake us up, free us from our worldly bondage, self absorbsion, lust for ease, pleasure, entertainment and ravenous lustful hunger for immoderate secular vices. Truly our stomachs are our Gods and we are bound to sensuality, technology and drugs. We have become Babylon reborn!!
There are a number of things that I find quite disconcerting in day to day living. I have noticed that CBC radio for instance Never has Christian content but constantly is promoting and highlighting ultra liberal agendas, native agendas and often promoting or at least supporting down right sinful and wicked policies and agendas. I also notice that no matter where I go, be it gas station, doctors office, hospital, grocery stores, department stores etc. I hear the same low quality nonsense garbage so called music blaring out 24/7. Many times the songs are glorifying sin and sinful conduct. I’ve noted that the same music/songs are being played over and over and over month after month and even year after year. When I look around it strikes me that people have become ground down numbed zombies. These poor people are subjected to this mindless noise day after day and have become convinced that this electronic trash white noise is music. It makes no difference the age group. They are all victims of some sick mind control programming foisted on the masses of sheeple by some invisible elite group moving under the power of Satan. Pollution is poured out on us on every front. Pharmacy, vaccines, GMO foods, toxic water, processed foods full of all manner of chemicals and sugar, meats contaminated with growth hormones and drugs, flavorless fresh fruits and vegetables, climate engineering chemicals, microwave frequencies and non stop fake news in our educational systems, churches, and MSM news outlets are all part of a well planned attack on society to rip apart civil society, rational thinking and reasoning, common sense, morality on every level, and all forms of personal freedom, liberty, pursuit of happiness and prosperity.
It is to me and it should be to everyone,..mind blowing to consider the national debt, unfunded liabilities, military expansion globally by the USA and the tidal wave of incomprehensible and innumerable forms of perversion that has flooded our nation(s). I need not go into that as pedophiles, cannibalism, Islam, rape, murder, human trafficking, and narcissism says just about all. We as a nation have become “lovers of ourselves” rather than lovers of God and righteousness. Our lives and world has become one big “selfie”. We have now embraced up for down. Right for wrong and light for darkness. The IRS has now given tax free status to the newest church religion called “The Way Of The Future”. Its messiah is a computer AI god. Yes, you can’t make this up. Artificial Intelligence is now being worshiped as god in the newest religion. George Orwell could never have grasped where we are and what we have become and excepted today.
The middle class is being terminated as the globalist continue their march toward the one world order…new world order. The only thing left for instance in the U.S. is a lower income class that is up to their eyeballs in personal debt, pornography, and national and state debt. Almost all the real manufacturing jobs have long long ago moved out of the country. China may have more debt than the U.S. but it has tons of brand new cities, manufacturing plants, infrastructure, mountains of gold, ownership of land, minerals, water and commercial real-estate through out the U.S.A., Canada, India, Africa, and many central and south American countries. So….if they see a financial collapse it will be no real big deal since they have lots of brand new assets, infrastructure, precious metals and land. They can just continue on after the reset while North America will have nothing but a devalued dollar and the loss of the Petro-dollar i.e. world’s reserve currency status. Civil war, marshal law, riots, killings, pillaging, and more natural disasters that will cripple the country. And then…..occupation from and by a foreign country after the invasion and war that makes them ruler of the country and people.
I have got to tell you that if I have to see or hear any more of the rich smooth manipulating Hinn, Hagan, Copeland, Baker, Bentley, Arnot, Olsteen preachers and their like hustling folks and flopping around imparting ungodly spirits like some kind of Kundalini Awakening in gullible sheep I am going to scream, throw-up and jump in it and splash it all over their faces. ….Sorry to sound so extreme but I mean it! I have never seen or read of any example of Jesus, Billy Graham or David Wilkerson conducting themselves like these false teachers do. God’s word does say that He (God) is not the author of confusion. God’s word does tell us that where there is envy and selfish ambition there will be confusion and every evil work. I find it so terribly sad that the so called north American Christian today is so easily lead astray. It serves to highlight the total lack of common sense, prayer life, study of God’s word. Who is hiding God’s word in their heart to that they might not sin against Him? Who is studying to show themselves approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth? Who is taking the entirety of God’s word…meaning the full council of His word….to find wisdom, context and sound application? Too much shallow, flippant, twisting of doctrine and just silly teaching coming out of our pulpits today that have no or very little scriptural supportive text, experiential and biblically historical proof. Would someone please explain to me why with the explosion of internet face-book, pay-pal, go-fund-me, and the dozens of options to have oneself “monetized” for posting articles by advertising sponsors that it has practically become a platform of begging, pleading, hustling, selling/marketing for and of the gospel and various Christian spin off evangelism streams? It seems to me that if God has called and raised someone up to ministry He is well able to provide the funds to support that ministry without having the listener/viewer subjected to pleas for money. I have heard all the explanations of why listeners should support through giving, buying products and so forth to enable the ministry site to continue. I’m well aware that they are being squeezed out of funding by the godless secular Googles, Facebooks and so on that seem to control internet content just because of their conservative and religious content. Myself, I can just turn it off or ignore it but I have to wonder if those new to the faith or not yet part of the Christian faith are put off, hustled and offended by this overt overbearing push for contributions. Seems to me a simple statement or posting of support options would be more appropriate than carrying on about “woe is me” and “did you know that only about 5% of the audience supports this ministry…shame, shame”. I’m sure you got the picture and have heard it all too. It reminds me of a United Methodist church I once attended. It was small in a lake side tourist town. Years after moving away from the town I was visiting the online town web site and clicked on the Methodist church link. There it was…pleading for the world…unbelievers and all….to please adopt them as a church so they could keep the doors open and bills paid. How sad that they the Christian church was seeking help and support from the world. It also mentioned how they were visiting local businesses to solicit donations from their customers i.e. local pub etc. It struck me as a sick joke. Definitely Bass Akward!! Now we know why as Ravenhill said revival tarries ….the pastors, prophets and evangelist are by and large lazy, liars, self absorbed, unlearned in the Word, or too taken with worldliness …or perhaps all of the above. The few folks in the pews that do know better just put up with it, even as they see those around them that are unaware of the apostasy taking place. They seem too gutless to put an end to it and say “enough stagnant water from broken cisterns”. “Give us living waters”! It is a very sad commentary on the spiritual health of the Christian church when you hear a very basic milk-of-the-word teaching or sermon preached to a congregation of old saints that have been Christians for 30 or 40 years. Too often the services are so predictable that one almost regrets coming to church. Don’t get me wrong. I love traditional liturgy and order in church. I love the Christian creeds where we have opportunity to re-affirm and confess our faith tenets. But too many times it is like watching someone trying to jump start a car with a dead battery only to discover that it is never going to jump start because the battery froze up and cracked. Over and over the motor turns. Once in a while you think it is about to fire but no….it is just the preacher getting a little loud and emotional trying to fire up some enthusiasm for something he has said. Much of the time we are like dinner at McDonalds. We want it quick and now. Don’t want any prep or waiting. The service WILL be 60 minutes in total…always. In the charismatic churches we usually don’t have psalms, hymns and spiritual songs and then have opportunity to sing and make melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). No…usually we sing some religious ditty chorus……over and over and over and over and over again until ….like a high school pep rally we finally get all hopped up and kind of emotional. If God were ever to show up I wonder what He would think or would He just want to throw-up and jump….oh, never mind. And finally may I ask…will Christ find faith within His church when He returns? Of course the answer is yes but what will His church have to go through to arrive at this state? And when will the Holy Spirit cleanse the temple of the Sheppards that are wolves in sheep’s clothes? When will the fleecing, the slaughter, the leading to destruction, the nonsense cease within the body of Christ too often at the hands of these carnal hirelings in clergy gowns? May we pray that God pour out a spirit of repentance on our nation(s).
As I read Jeremiah and Lamentations all I can see is America and to a lesser extent Canada. Canada has not been in a leadership position or a major power on the world stage like the USA and so what I see most clearly is a description of the U.S.A. and what is happening and what is to come. I will pause here to say that the moral condition of Canada strikes me as one of a completely secular, post Christian, prideful, material obsessed, unthankful, and perverse nation. One who is rapidly turning into an almost godless country. However, what I see clearly is the U.S.A. She will be dealt with because of her position and broken covenant with God. Canada and other nations will suffer greatly because of the fallout and domino effects of America’s downfall and collapse. At a later point in time Canada will be dealt with if she refuses to truly repent. What is coming is too horrible to contemplate. It is frightening and full of terror and I quake knowing there is a very limited amount one can do to prepare. Prepare we must but first and foremost the preparation must be in our hearts, minds and relationship and dependence in God. We absolutely must be connected to God and be cloaked and filled with His Spirit. Nothing else will keep or save us!
As I read the fourth chapter of Lamentations it was sobering to read that the punishment and destruction of Zion would be greater than that of Sodom which was overthrown in a moment. It will be that the kings of the earth and the nations WILL NOT believe that the enemy could enter/breech the gates of the city/country. (Lam. 4:12). But they will and it will be primarily because of the vile sins of the lying, deceiving prophets, priests and pastors. (Lam 4:13) How many support or do not raise up a voice and hand against abortion from the pulpits in the land? How many clergy are up to their clerical collars in pedophilia, human trafficking and every manner of sexual perversity?? Ahead is famine, hunger and foreign occupation. Read the 4th and 5th chapter of Lamentations. This is coming! Cannibalism, rich and famous will become beggars. The people will buy water and wood for heating from their masters who will rule over them just to survive. To find food they will risk their lives daily. Rape, rape, and more rape. Yes many woman will be ravished but what I see is religious, pious, self righteous women denying and losing their faith because it was shallow and they suffered this violation. Torture, death, neglect and slavery faces the male population. The great city called America will sit a lonely widow. Her so called friends and allies will become her enemies and the nations will hiss and shake their heads at the utter exposure of her manifold filthiness and plundering. America will be left alone bitterly weeping in her hour of judgement and collapse while the world turns their back after plundering her treasures. I am all but holding my breath when I awake daily as I see our nations continuing their unabated march toward the abyss of judgement. No one notices it seems. Very few sound the alarm. The lying prophets and princes continue declaring their false visions and fanaticises. As dogs return to their vomit these fools return to their lying vanities and folly. The hour of judgement…the hour of sorrow…the hour of accounting approaches ever so quickly and so few discern the moment. Repent! Prepare! The arc door is closing!!

Wow! this was volcanic truth and I love how he said it. Interestingly, after our posting the dreams article today I woke up to christian insanity. There was one person who was angry and said, “You are no one special!” Then later I posted a good quote from Moody, only to have someone spewing the Lord’s name out in every way he could in hebrew and aramaic, claiming that Moody was an heretic and will have to stand at the Great White Throne to answer for his sins. Also, remember yesterday Matt’s article on what the NAR is was posted right? So today I got a private message from some man who let me know how offended he was with me that I dared speak against NAR and stood with those that opposed it. He went on to parentally punish me by saying, “I have now unfriended you until you learn not to do this!” Then I posted a 4 minute vid from Derek Prince discussing pride, and a woman in the comment section was throwing his under the bus claiming he was FULL of pride because he mentioned being in Hawaii.

I concur with BA’s rant/venting, but would like to know what ya’ll think some possible solutions might be??

I’ve pretty much just accepted that these are the last days and we are experiencing the predicted apostasy.

One thing we can do is continue to encourage each other as we see the DAY approaching. To that end…You guys are awesome and I appreciate this group and this site!

Even in Israel during Elijah’s time, some 90% or so were worshiping Baal instead of God; only 7,000 had not bowed the knee to an idol. Should we be so surprised today in America when so very few are living for God instead of the world? God always has a remnant. I see some of them when I come to AMtM.

When our Lord, Jesus, was born at the appointed time, He came to the nation God had separated for Himself. The people were very religious overall and the leaders were outwardly “clean”. His message to all was so clear, all are sinners and need a Savior. Many believed Him and were saved from this world. Many did not believe Him. He gave us so many warnings that the gospel writers were faithful to record for all future generations. This last generation is witnessing the fulfillment of many prophecies from the old testament and what Jesus prophecied would happen at the end. Things will only get worse…believe that is possible …prepare by devoting yourself to the Almighty God who has all Authority and can keep us from the evil. Find the Light, Jesus, and stay with Him. As Jesus taught, we can not help anyone if we are not following Him, working with the Holy Spirit to see who we ourselves are, and who HE is. The ALL Powerfull, Almighty, Everlasting, Eternal Perfect God and Creator will protect and keep His people when they believe as Abraham did. I live daily aware of all you wrote and also am vexed in the spirit watching this world descend into the most awful and unimaginable depth of sin, unaware of the judgement that is coming. Our Lord shows me daily how I fall short and I pray for His mercy and judgement, our only hope! Judgement begins at the house of God, we are that house and we should experience judgement with mercy if we are seeking Him. Jesus laid down His life, we must do the same, continuing to work the works of God that He laid out for us before the foundations of the world. John chapter 3… the entire chapter speaks of this. As always I continue to pray that all those seeking the truth find Jesus and His rest.

The fact is that there is so little preaching about repentance, so little talk of hardship, judgement or tough times coming from the mouths of the majority of church pastors and leaders. It’s much more popular (ear-tickling) to tell people about how much God wants them to prosper and have material benefits today. When was the last time we heard preachers mention the martyrdom of the early disciples, or John the Baptist and Paul? Did they do something wrong because they never had material prosperity and wealth?

This is powerful truth! It is heart breaking to know how far our Nation has fallen. I would not have ever thought it could myself until the Lord told me and showed me many years ago. As I have witnessed events unfolding before my eyes and seen how the darkness has overpowered our Nation, I know judgement is about to fall. I don’t know how much more God will allow the sinful rebellion of His own people in this Nation, let alone the unsaved.

I agree that judgement of His people here in the USA is what it is going to take to bring us to the place of humility and true repentance. It will come by all the ways that have been shared and sadly our enemies will rule over us (they already do!) but, God will use this and those who have willingly laid their own lives down to bring in the harvest here. As small as it may be, there is a remnant here that have not bowed the knee nor will they!

We are not promised tomorrow, the time is now to prepare our hearts before Him.
