As the Syrian civil war winds down and President Bashar Al-Assad remains in power, what’s next for Syria? Is it payback time against Israel for conducting repeated air strikes over the past few years on Syrian soil?
Now possessing powerful alliances with Russia, Iran and Hezbollah, Syria is fighting back against Israel’s aggression. I was talking to someone about this today and the Red Alert app on my phone started going crazy. I discovered that there were multiple rockets and mortar fire going into Israel from the Gaza strip at different locations. It was like probing attacks to test defenses and responses. The same could be said for the recent Iranian drone incursion in Northern Israel, where Syrian anti-aircraft fire brought down the Israeli F16 jet responsible for destroying the drone. There is a war coming for Israel and it seems to be coming closer all the time. Pray for Israel and those caught up in this conflict as it will be a vicious war waged by the enemies of God.

In the background I see the hand of Putin as well. He has Russian troupes etc in the area that Israel bombed. I think there is a cat & mouse game going on between him & Netanyahu. The whole incident had Russia written all over it.
