Prayers for Ridding Home of Demonic Oppression/Control

PRAYER REQUEST! 2/8/18

Tomorrow I’m headed to my recently deceased mother’s house and I need your prayers for me as I attempt to rid it of demonic oppression/control.

My mother was a christian scientist (44+ years), and at one point described some sort of visitation that lasted several days. I won’t go into detail but she seemed to think it was a good thing but I absolutely know it had to have been demonic. Especially since she was so deceived through that false religion. I’m certain she opened many doors that need to be shut.

She came to live with me about a year before she died so the house has been unoccupied and for sale since then. Every time we would make the trip (4.5 hours) back to retrieve anything, while in the house mom would get sick. She would feel dizzy, nauseous, have angina and could only sit, not able to do or pack anything. We would usually only stay a few hours before turning around and I’d drive us back to Dallas. I’ve never felt at peace there.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any other strong, mature Christians to go with me. My best friend will be with me but she is really a Christian in name only; she doesn’t read her Bible much, but I’m working on her! 🙂

I made some anointing oil based upon an article by Ray Gano How Do I Battle Demonic Oppression & Influence? and Joanie has given me excellent advice which I’ve been following. However, I still consider myself a young Christian (10 years saved) so I desperately need your prayers and support! I will probably arrive there around 2pm on Friday, 2/9.

Prayers going up Dianna. Joanie has probably told you this anyway but go knowing that you have the “full authority” of the Lord Jesus Christ right behind you. Nothing can stand against that – Luke 10:19 – https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+10%3A19&version=NKJV. These things have to go and move to the authority of Jesus, there is no choice in the matter. Let us know how you get on.

Thank you Matt & Tony for your prayers! I know they made a difference because all went well and it was an uneventful trip, which was such a blessing. I anointed the entire house and dedicated it to Jesus. After that, I felt much better about staying there and noticed that I didn’t have that constant lack of peace I felt formerly.
From what I’ve read, I’ll probably have to do this every time I go back since demons are territorial and will come back to check things out.

What’s interesting, I just remembered that the first night there when I was falling asleep – you know how you can be sort of in between being asleep and awake, so you’re not sure if what you’re “seeing” is real – I saw this demonic creature, black/very dark and sort of a mix between an ape & a dog (?) that started running toward the house on all fours from a distance, over several miles of hills & valleys, like I’m watching it from a higher elevation, I guess? It gets up to the house and wants to get in and comes to the bedroom window where I’m sleeping. I remember feeling terror for a split second but then I started praying fervently and rebuking it in this semi-sleep state and I turn the battle over to the warrior angels guarding the house. (Someone on FB said something about 2 large warrior angels guarding the house so I remembered them and it gave me comfort, and it just seemed natural in my semi-sleep state to turn it over to them.)
