AMTM family, you would not know this but, my extended family – 2 brothers and 2 adult children from my first marriage are unchurched. My fervent prayer for them, for years now, is their salvation. Well, this morning, I received a call from my younger brother, Brian. (He and his wife lost their 19 year old son, their only child, 7 months ago to an overdose of drugs). He called to share with me that he was baptized this past Sunday. (The Episcopal Priest at his Wife’s church has been encouraging him to take this step for some time now.)
We spoke at length and although he has taken this pivotal step, I’m a little concerned as he is still struggling with issues of Faith, certain aspects of the bible, etc.

During our talk I encouraged my brother to ask Jesus into his heart and to ask him to manifest Himself in a special way. I also encouraged my brother to open the bible and start in the book of John.

So, fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, please pray that Jesus would touch Brian’s heart in a special way that would resonate with him and show him that our Lord is real, and worthy of praise, honor and glory.

Thank you all for your prayers!

        Hi Gary,
Have prayed that the Holy Spirit would speak with your brother in a way that he will know it’s God speaking to him.
Thanks for posting this and let us know how things go.
