Just put this up on my little news feed:

New snowstorm [Dan] to kick off April from Montana to Michigan

“Residents from Billings, Montana, to Bismarck, North Dakota; Sioux City, Iowa; Minneapolis and Rochester, Minnesota; Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Traverse City, Michigan, should not put away their snow shovels, plows and boots just yet.”

“Several inches of snow will pile up along the storm’s track with amounts topping six inches across western and central Montana. Isolated amounts up to a foot are possible from southern Minnesota into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This includes in Minneapolis and Green Bay.” –(Accuweather)

That’s interesting! Snow up there and temperatures like a New Zealand summer in the Southern States!

Yes, it is April & traditionally our nights are definitely chilly & our days in the low 20s Celsius but this April the nights are warm, around the 20 to 22 mark & we are still having days of 35C which is so weird! I really have this gut feeling that again this year we will remain warm until Anzac Day which is the 25th April & then winter will set in early & we will lose our Autumn just as we have lost our Spring. The sun is still rising in the south east & should be further north than it is. So everything not as it used to be. I like my autumn days with the cooler nights & the balmy days, but looks like it is history!
