Yes Rene’, those were my thoughts also, definitely a can short of a six-pack, a sandwich short of a picnic, that boat does not have all its oars in the water and there are a few Roos loose in the top paddock. The man needs some serious prayer so he can get at least one foot back on planet Earth.

On a serious note, the Lord has me focusing on how to deal with encountering those who have been given over to a reprobate mind, as we will surely be doing so more and more as the DAY approaches. I had to ask a Walmart employee to accompany me a couple of days ago as I shopped, since this creepy fellow kept following me around in the store…the creeper didn’t even stop following me with the employee there with me and I was concerned that he’d follow me to my car. I sensed this guy was up to no good…more than other creepers I’ve encountered at Walmart, who want my phone number so they can find a sugga-momma. Ugh… I will be more alert than usual as I shop now and I’m even thinking of getting an open carry permit.

That encounter you had gives new meaning to ‘WalMartian!’. Definitely need to be vigilant these days.

That is very creepy Rene’, It’s a shame that you can’t go shopping in peace without some creepy man harassing you, quite annoying. Open permit sounds very fair, get the biggest honking handgun you can legally carry, LOL.

As a woman, I think the CHL license is the way to go. I’ve had mine for 5+ years and “never leave home without it.” 🙂
I don’t subscribe to “open carry” because you loose the tactical advantage.

I’d just prefer that creepers wouldn’t mess with me whilst shopping. I just found out from a co-worker that a lady was followed in a similar manner at a different store less than half a mile away from the store where I was followed. What are some suggestions in order to appear less approachable? Also, I’m wondering what the end game is of these stalkers?

Hmmm….. (thinking seriously here)…….. deterring creepy guys at Walmart or any other Mart. Besides the honking great handgun (open or concealed carry) These guys know who they can target and if they spot someone i.e. a single lady. These guys have rhinoceros hide thick skin and require very blunt measures to deter them, even then some of them don’t get it. Going in a group to Walmart is more of a deterrent, if said creepy stalker does not take the hint and persists in making advances then a more direct verbal assault might be in order. It may be good to alert store staff (security if they have it) and then after the creepy stalking has become seriously annoying start talking at them in a very loud voice, saying things like “are you following me”, I want you to stop following me, you are a very creepy stalker and I am sick of your creepy stalking behaviour and I’m going to alert store security if you don’t stop”.. This should be loud enough to attract said store staff or security, it will also alert other shoppers to the creepy person …………… Anyone else got some ideas?

Failing that, just call in Todd White and camera crew………. it would do it for me!!

Great advice, Matt!

Another thing I could do is order my items online from said “mart” and pickup at the parking lot. This would probably save me $$ as well since I sometimes get the shiny syndrome & buy things not on my list.
