Get Ready for the Harvest

My dream was like any other dream….nonsensical, jumbled, weird. But, something jerked my very soul awake during my dreams last night. In the middle of dreaming I was standing before a very high walled area, I could only see one side of it. I could not see what was inside of this walled area. The walls were at least 40 ft. high. They were like the biggest, thickest wooden and concrete privacy fence that anyone could ever install in their yard. Suddenly, I was inside of this walled area and I was shocked. Everywhere I looked were produce plants gone wild and loaded down with ripe vegetables and fruits. It was a wild garden. There were no trellises with trimmed vines, no cages and support stakes with upright smart plants, no carefully formed rows or mounds – it was wild. Everything was mixed up, as if the gardener tilled the garden, mixed up seed in a seeder and walked in random patterns scattering mixed up random produce seeds throughout.

I reached down and saw a very delicious type of cucumber (or at least I think it was a cucumber). It plucked off the vine so easily! I took a bite and it was literally the best thing I have ever eaten. I wanted more, but knew that I shouldn’t yet. I had to wait for others, though I had no idea who the “others” were. I was amazed at this “wild” uncultivated vegetable garden and I looked up at the high walls surrounding me. I tried to look at the far side, but couldn’t – it seemed endless. I felt a presence there with me and began asking about this amazing wild garden, but the Presence did not answer other than to say that it was my garden, His garden, our garden. Somehow, I belonged to this garden. I got the urgent sense that I needed to take care of the garden and that I needed to prepare to harvest it. Seeing that I was the only person there (that I could see) I immediately searched for the exit – it was right behind me! It was a complicated, different kind of exit – one that only those who had access to the garden could use. I questioned why it was like that and only got “Many will try, but only a few will enter.” I exited the garden and looked back at its towering walls.

Immediately I wanted to go back inside and harvest all of those delicious vegetables. But, I wanted to find others to help me. I went inside of a house, I guess it was my house, I didn’t recognize it, and began telling everyone there (unidentified people of an unknown number) about this wonderful garden that I had and how I needed help harvesting. No one seemed to understand, no one seemed to see this garden that I kept pointing to outside of the windows. They kind of ignored me or dismissed me. Confused, I looked back out at the garden and realized that it was raining very hard outside and that it had become almost pitch black outside. I was concerned for the garden and behold, the entire garden was illuminated with such a bright light, I almost couldn’t look at it. Professional sports stadium type lights were placed all around the perimeter of the garden, lighting up the garden as if in daytime. I was like, “Why are such big bright lights out in the garden?” My dream then went back to the nonsensical nothingness that I cannot even recall a single second of. However, when I eventually woke up, all I could think about was that garden. So, I asked for wisdom and interpretation from the Holy Spirit, was it something that was shown to me by the Father? Here is what He said,

“The garden represents the harvest of those who will call upon My Name and be saved. They are not those who will perish, but those who I have reserved for Myself and Placed My Name upon. The garden is wild because what you are seeing represents the Gentiles. I came not only for the Jews, but for the Gentiles as well – the wild olive shoot, the wild grape vine, that I have grafted in to my people Israel. The Jews are in that garden as well, but you cannot see them yet because you do not yet know them. Your focus is to be on your own people, the Gentiles, of whom you belong. But, both Jews and Gentiles are ready for the harvest in My garden. The harvest is ready, ripe, and is in abundance, yet My workers are few. You are one of my workers, but it is not quite time yet. Soon, very soon, so soon you will barely have time to blink, but not just yet. I am preparing my workers for the harvest right now, I am training you, and gathering all of you unto Me. I am preparing you for what is to come, for once I open the harvest, you will working like never before – and your reward will be eternal. Do not worry if people ignore you, do not believe you, or do not seem to care. I will bring the workers who I have called.”

I asked about the walls and the lights.

“The walls represent the protection of the I Am. It is the hedge of the Holy Spirit, surrounding and protecting those who belong to me – even those who have not been harvested yet. Those who do and who will belong to Me are so precious to Me that I will protect them with mighty walls – none may enter without My permission. Few will enter my garden for harvest. The lights represent My light, that shines upon you and chases away the darkness. No darkness can be found in My Presence – for I AM without darkness. Anywhere my people go, there My light will shine. So when it becomes pitch black outside, where you cannot see your hand in front of your face, and when it begins to rain and pour, look to my garden and know that My light shines upon it. I AM with you and I will never leave those who belong to Me. I love you and I will have great joy at seeing you when all is said and done. I AM who I AM.”

And that was that. Praise be to the Lord God Most High, Jesus Christ, our King and Messiah. Praise be the Father Who sits on Heaven’s Throne. His love endures forever!

Thank you for your time and effort to share this with us. I wonder what this upcoming harvest is going to look like. It will undoubtedly correlate with the (near) future turmoils in society. Bad people will become worse, false brethren will show their true colours, but a lot of normal people will finally open their ears to us out of sheer spiritual desperation. I think the hearts of men are always revealed in times of crisis and chaos. Perhaps this is why a lot of unpleasent events must come to pass so that people who are on the fence fall to one side or the other.

I have always wondered that too, and this is the first time that He has shown me anything concerning the great harvest. All throughout the New Testament we see the saving of souls referred to as a harvest in some form or fashion, but I think this was talking about most definitely those who have yet to turn to Jesus (but will before it is too late). I am not a pre-ordained or whatever it is called, pre-chosen (?) viewpoint, but in a way God already knows who will turn to Him and who ultimately will not – He is Omnipotent.

And this particular dream came to me last night (so 11/13/18), just after I have been spending a lot of time lately praying for the people in my neighborhood, my church congregation, my extended family, etc…. and honestly wondering and asking God when the harvest was going to take place or if it has already happened. I am not pre-Trib, more like pre-God’s wrath. I know that a lot of people (us included) are about to endure the Time of Sorrows, the Tribulation, Satan’s wrath against God’s chosen children. I have been thinking a lot about people coming to Christ lately.

I just can’t help but think of how similar our situation today is with the story of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man, when in hell, begged to go back to warn his brothers. But Abraham told him he couldn’t, that if he didn’t listen to the prophet’s warnings, then why would his brothers believe anything someone from the dead would say? Today God is using so many of us to issue warnings, messages of repentance, as well as reaching out and serving in love (not the love Gospel, but actual servitude for Christ). However, He’s shown me that many people will refuse Him and turn a deaf ear.

The way I see it…..the Tribulation will begin (if it hasn’t already), and people will either do one of two things: repent and turn to Jesus because they realize the truth of the lie they’ve been living or 2: they will curse Him and name Him as their enemy – siding themselves with Satan and the Fallen.

I should also note or explain a bit more about the Gentile/Jew thing that was mentioned. I am not Jewish and no one in either mine or my husband’s family are of Jewish descent. I actually have never even met a practicing Jew – whether Orthodox or traditional. It wasn’t until I joined AMTM that I even met a Christian/Messianice Jew or a converted Christian from Judaism. Where I live, there is a Jewish community, but the only contact I have with it is riding by the synagog on the way to our church. I just felt like maybe I needed to clarify that. I’ve always been drawn to the Jewish community and because they are God’s covenant people through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, I have always loved them and yearned to share Christ, the Messiah, with them.

And with all the things happening in Israel today militarily, politically, spiritually, etc… my heart has been looking in that direction. However, I think it was a gentle reminder that the Father has placed me here, in this place, to reach the lost amongst us here in my city. Knoxville is an international city (or sanctuary city) where we get large populations of refugees, immigrants, students, and contract workers (both technological and scientific). I am one of the ministry team leaders of my church’s international ministry where we work one-on-one with our foreign friends – teaching them English, American life/culture, and the Bible.

So, I just didn’t want anyone to misunderstand about the Jew/Gentile thing. That little tidbit was meant for me to understand and know – but nothing so personal that I would leave it out. That’s all! 🙂 Most of the time my dreams/visions are self-explanatory. But every now and then He’ll show me something that I have to go to Him to ask about.
