After completing five events in Australia, Stefan Molyneux and Lauren Southern went to New Zealand for an August 3rd event in Auckland – but due to circumstances beyond their control, things went terribly awry and the event was canceled.

Jacinda Ardern: Stefan Molyneux and Lauren Southern’s views are not welcome in NZ

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says New Zealand is hostile to the views of Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux, the far-right speakers who had an event cancelled last night.

Ardern, speaking on her arrival back to Wellington after six weeks of maternity leave, was responding to comments from Molyneux that New Zealand was “hostile to free speech”.

“I think we’re hostile to their views,” Ardern said.

“They’re here because there were no grounds to block them being here. But that does not mean we welcome their views.”

“I think you’ll see from the reaction that they have had from New Zealanders that their views are not those that are shared by this country and I’m quite proud of that.”

I’ve been following Stefan Molyneux for years and he´s a great rational thinker with a sound mind. You could definetly notice how he -being an agnostic (“softcore-atheist”) philosopher – was slowly but steadily warming up to Christianity just by looking at the data.

Based on history and comparing the cultures of the world, he came to the conclusion that European civilization became the greatest and most enlightened force thanks to the positive influence and inspiration of the Christian religion and that since Christianity was being removed from our public institutions and discourses, everything is crumbling down into a disgusting and disfunctional mess leading to the death of the occident in the near future. So he basically started lobbying on behalf of Christianity because he wanted the children to grow up in a healthy, well balanced and morally decent society. He stated that the politics of atheism are objectively bad which led to a lot of hostility from (his fellow) atheists.

I can respect that and I think that on a spiritual level he´s instinctivly recognizing the deeper metaphysical goodness and truth that caused all the positive effects in Christian societies in the past. Therefore Molyneux is confirmed as a reasonable person even in his unbelieving state, which shows the fundamental difference to a hardcore-atheist fool like Richard Dawkins who’s irrational, unreasonable, doesn´t care about arguments that don´t serve his ideology and who openly hates God.

Furthermore, Molyneux already opened his show for guests who are confessing Christians and he already admitted that a lot theological arguments in favor of the existence of the specific Christian Creator God of the Bible are logical and worthy of further debate. Pretty encouraging, I pray he´ll ultimatly come to the final conclusion that Jesus Christ is who he said he is.

Plus his show is focussing on debunking all the foundational myths of liberal political correctness, and this thankfully includes opposing all kinds of distorted and ill-intended propaganda about Church history. Summa summarum: I get a lot out of Molyneux.
