There are different classes of Bible readers. Some read it out of guilt. Others read it because they have to for Bible School, while others read it because they are alive and thriving by it, and cannot get enough of it. They live by “every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” They read it night and day, they absorb it and meditate on it until it literally becomes an active part of themselves. The word of God is described by Paul the apostle as a sword that vanquishes the forces and powers of darkness. Yet, he describes another action of the word as being “a two-edged sword that divides the soul and spirit, dividing asunder the bone and marrow.” Then adds, “for it is a discerner (judge) of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” When people stay in the word of God, that very word sword begins to cut down deeper and deeper into the very depths of the innermost spirit of the individual. Power and force are engaged, for that is where the Holy Spirit resides. Prayer is transformed and authority increases, along with revelation of Jesus Christ and what the ultimate purpose of it’s active power employs!

    * “Joanie Stahl’s Field Notes” is strictly run off of your God inspired financial gifts which helps me tremendously to continue working full time in this ministry I love so dearly. It also allows me to cheerfully give to others in need and in helping to further the Kingdom of God. Another way you can give is through prayer. As the Lord Jesus Christ moves you to pray for me I so hugely appreciate it, as I fully know and understand the powerful value of prayer.
