      The “fear of the Lord” is a term known in Christianity that is well known, yet in many ways holds no weight to most people. To many it is mostly an antiquated saying from the Old Testament, and has the post-modern believer less than interested in saying it. It invokes some kind of an bad feeling because the word “fear” is employed. Most know that it means, a reverential fear and awe, honor and devoted love to the Lord Jesus Christ. The reality is that it’s meaning is so much more than that. The “fear of the Lord” is revealed only in the person of Jesus Christ, and in the way of life of the Believer in all conduct within and without. It is easy to see who it is that fears the Lord and who does not. The fear of the Lord is His treasure, Is it yours?
