313- Doug Woodward – The Septuagint, Great Flood Noah & Ancient Babel – Discovering the True Timeline!

Episode 313 of the A Minute To Midnite Show. Tony is joined by Doug Woodward. Doug argues that the Septuagint reveals the authentic chronology from Adam to Abraham, and that it aligns Genesis’ primeval history with the archeology of ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Opinions shared by guests are not necessarily those held by A Minute to Midnite. However, people probably owe it to Doug Woodward to actually read his books before passing judgement on them. I have had people on this show before who are King James only adcocates. Now I have given Doug a chance to show a different side to this.
Remember he is stating that the King James New Testament was primarily translated from the Septuagint anyway. But he sees the biggest problem being in the Masoretic text that they used to translate the Old Testament “by and large”. According to Doug’s research, the Masoretic text had been “messed with” by RabbiAkiva ben Yosef also known as Rabbi Akiva, who was a leading Jewish scholar and sage, of the latter part of the first century.

None of this is promoting a different gospel…or the gnostic gospels or any of those things. If anything, it was Rabbu Akiva who did his best to subvert Christianity by dubious methods in the long distant past. So get Doug’s books, read them first, and THEN decide if KJV only is really the valid position to take or not.
