A Minute To Midnite Show HostNovember 13, 2018 at 12:07 pm #8898Woa!!! Woa I say. what a great interview. It was like 220 volt hit me. I guess it could be said that it certainly bore witness with me. I could say 90% of what was shared checked my boxes. Division, mistrust, deception, compromise, betrayal and a ravenous hunger for pretty lies and carnality seem to be the menu of the day in and out of the church. So getting right down to ones family and those you attend church with,.. you have to be as harmless as doves but wise as serpents and foxes. Proverbs encourages men to hold their tongue as a precaution to maintaining their safety. That is NOT to say we compromise our Christian testimony but as it was quoted in the interview…” cast not your pearls before swine lest the trample them under foot and turn again to rend you”. How important it is to be in tune with the leading of the Holy Spirit. Only He can enlighten and direct us as we strive within the tension of not condemning folks and loving them but yet not endorsing and keeping company with the godless in their life styles. This can be particularly tricky when it involves ones parents, children, siblings, or spouse…..or even so called brothers and sisters in Christ. Truly it is time to shake ones self, be more vigilant and cry out to God to stir our heart’s fires to a blaze again. Most of my days I find my self wishing and vainly hoping that I could just be a good Christian and live right, help a few folks, support some good solid Christian ministry and missions an live out my retirement years till the closing curtain falls for me. But much to my distress and often frustration all I can hear is the crackling of twigs under the unseen enemy’s foot, see the billowing smoke and red glow on the horizon, and hear the roaring clamor of rattling metal and thundering hoof beats. It awakes me in the night and I find myself standing in a dark and dimly lit street while chaos fear and collapse washes throughout the streets and buildings like a dirty tsunami. Then I am jolted and in desperation search my heart for any unclean thing to confess and repent of. Make vows to myself that I must not sleep spiritually and not be a salt that has lost if savor. Ha!…surely those I pass by in daily life would shake their head and chuckle if they knew the thoughts and convictions that reside within such a plain and common little man as I. I thank God that His spirit still works within me. That He speaks to me, encourages me and strengthens me to take hope in Him and take up my position and shield again for another day. Thanks for staying true to your calling and mission for the Lord. A must listen interview!
CheersDecember 28, 2018 at 5:38 am #9512Hello,
The name of Lois Vogel Sharp came up. I’ve been following her on youtube for a while now. I noticed she went through a Pro Trump phase for a while too. In her defense, I don’t think she ever put out a word from the Lord that was Pro Trump. She seems to have been influenced mainly by others. The word about a Red Tsunami was not her word, it was somebody else. I think mainly she has come under the influence of Steve Quayle and his whole circle of Hagmann & Hagmann radio show.
She seems to be back on track lately. I haven’t heard anything about Trump. I think she gets genuine words from the Lord. She is one of the few out there who is actually doing something —- building a Safe Haven. Which is what we should all be doing. She would make a great guest.
She is much more on target than that Doug guy you guys had on a while back. That guy is kind of full of himself and has some weird teachings, in particular about marriage. If you want to talk about Safe Havens again, get her instead of Doug.
