171 – The Great Deception- Strong Delusion – Are you ready for it?

That was excellent guys, very informative. Part of my daily prayer is that the Lord will cleanse my mind, subconscious as well as subliminal. Then I ask Him to protect it throughout the day as I am so aware of my frailty in this area. I am easily deceived just like Eve. So am always very aware of it each morning as I come before the Lord. In the early part of your talk, I made a note to myself from what you said and that was ‘elevating man’ I also believe that once marriage was abolished that God brought to pass Romans 1: 18 onwards. We finally overstepped the first law of God that a man would leave his parents & become one with his wife. So verse 24 is in play now. ‘Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonouring of their bodies among themselves.’ I also thought that you summed up our politicians perfectly! The ones we have in Canberra are an ungodly bunch that are in leadership. At the 25 minute mark you referred to a verse in 2 Corinthians 3 & 4 & by this time I was fully awake as you were discussing the mind & this morning when praying I was so aware of the mind & thinking about how important it was to keep it under the Lordship of Christ. I was actually preaching to myself out aloud as is my regular practice & I was thinking of the helmet of salvation & quoting Romans 12: 2 to myself. Anyway, I quickly looked up 2 Corinthians but couldn’t find the verses you were referring to until later in your talk when I realised that they were from chapter 11. When you were reading from 2 Peter 2: 1 – 3 I thought that this Scripture is relevant to today because of verse 3. ‘And in their greed they will exploit you with false words.’ Now doesn’t that sum up the tele evangelists over the past 20 plus years. I remember the influx of them on our tvs in Australia in the early 90s. I used to watch many of them & I was deceived by their words until I finally left the pentecostal system & ended up in a Reformed Presbyterian church & heard the Word of God preached faithfully each week, chapter by chapter, from the OT as well as from the NT. This was the first time I had ever really come under the OT being opened & preached from. Yet that is the bible the Bereans used. It has opened up a whole new world to me. These days I am reading the bible each year from Genesis to Revelation which I believe is so important if we are to get through these last days without being deceived.
