I would say that for most of us that have read the account of Adam and Eve’s fall, we focus on mostly one thing alone.
They both partook of the forbidden fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Something God expressly, plainly, and firmly commanded them NOT to do. Of other commandments, none is mentioned except this oneand onlything.
I believe that most of us can take a bit more out of this event as we go along the road of Christian maturity in knowledge and understanding. However, today was quite different.
Today I saw that Job mentions the “transgressions andiniquity” of Adam as more than just one thing we are used to thinking about. Meaning, the only action we see in his taking the forbidden fruit out of Eve’s hand and eating it.
