A New Perspective into the Laodicean Church

EXCERPT FROM THE ARTICLE
“I know thy works that thou are neither cold or hot: I would that thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.”
Upon reading that part, my eyes stopped and became planted upon those words. They are strikingly clear about what He feels without a doubt. Yet, here is what I thought for the first time. I thought, “He has no commendation for this church. He has only pure stomach-turning disgust and revulsion”.
He mentions His strong desire that they be either“cold or hot”. Why three times? Because three is the number of divinity and this is summed up in1 John 5:7-8:
