How’s It Going to End? – We Accept the Reality of the World with which we are Presented.

Its selection, I mean election season in America and there is an old fashioned way ideas of slogans were communicated in the past, especially in election seasons. Perhaps you could say this was the forerunner to the meme or the tweet. But, back in the day it was common for political candidates to distribute small metal buttons to be given out and worn by supporters on their clothes to help spread awareness or a slogan of a particular candidate. The most famous was perhaps the simplest; It read “I like Ike” which was a shorthand way to say, I am a fan of Dwight D Eisenhower and want to vote for him for president . Ike was a nickname for Eisenhower. Well that got me thinking to a more recent reference or use of these pins that were somewhat popular from the 40’s right up to the 1970’s. Hence the photo above. Do you know where this button is from?

By now, you know I often like to throw in a movie reference in the articles I write, and this is no exception – in fact, spoiler alert, I am going to base much of my thoughts on concepts illustrated in the 1998 hit movie “The Truman Show”. The buttons shown above were used in that movie. What makes this movie so unique is that is not only an example of ‘predictive programming’, but also a ‘revelation of the method’ – all pertaining to the crazy movie-like world we find ourselves living in today. So, buckle up, because we are about to go on a ride that may make your head spin, but hopefully will wake you up to a reality hiding in plain sight and help answer some of the biggest questions of our day.

As for the day, I am writing this on July 16, just a few days after one of the biggest blockbuster made-for-TV moments in recent memory: the assassination attempt on former President Trump that occurred on 7/13/24 at a political rally held in Pennsylvania. And what an emotional roller-coaster ride this has been. While watching on live TV for all the world to see, we observed what can best be described as a scene out of a dystopian movie thriller where Donald Trump goes down behind a podium and is rushed by secret service personnel as the sound of gunfire is heard in the background. And, as we watch transfixed on our screens, we see Trump rise up and with blood on his face and an upside-down American flag in the background, and we see him thrust up a clenched fist as he heroically urges the crowd to fight, fight, fight! It truly is the stuff of movie legend – only it was real! Or was it?

That is the first question that entered my mind and the minds of so many others. Most were just in shock witnessing what was unfolding on screen and were probably wondering if this was really happening. We are subjected to so many memes and fake images and gory dramas on TV, that it is natural that people would be quick to wonder whether what we were watching was for real or not. But, after checking on various other channels, they all seemed to confirm that what we were seeing was real, or at least it was actually playing out before the nation and the world to see. Soon after, the reactions began to pour out from various perspectives. There were those who were shocked and upset, some who were dismayed and disappointed, others that were incredulous and some who were indifferent. But, make no mistake about it – we had all been witness to a massive event signaling something major.

Immediately, a lot of people joined the ranks of us conspiracy theorists. Only now there were multiple conspiracy theory camps. Was this a deliberate organized event from the Left to eliminate Trump’s election possibility? Was this a staged event designed by the Right to bolster Trump’s election campaign? Was this a move of the deep-state since it was so reminiscent of the grassy knoll and JFK? Was this a colossal intelligence and security failure similar to the colossal failure of Oct 7, 2023 in Israel? Was this the work of a foreign government or operative? Was this a lunatic or a domestic terrorist? The flurry of rampant speculation were conjured out of thin air as the masses were glued to their TVs.

I will not go into great depth about my own thoughts other than to say, I am indeed a conspiracy scientist – not a theorist, because I like to base my conspiracy investigations on observable facts and reliable data. And, yes, I believe there are a number of possible conspiracies that could be in play and one or more that will prove to be true, but at this point, what may be best to do is observe the impact of this event and what it ushers in. Both the obvious effects and the less obvious and the more intentional outcomes of this set of event is what we need to pay attention to.

The obvious effects are just that – obvious. Clearly, this makes Trump a juggernaut that will be nearly impossible to stop. He has been built up to be a huge American hero and no matter how you slice it – this guy has simply got to be the next president. This even gives a somewhat honorable exit strategy or plausible reason for the democrats to take the loss in this cycle of the selection , er, I mean election. But I think it is now a safe bet to assume that Trump will be the next President. And just yesterday, we learned of his VP running mate – a relatively obscure senator named JD Vance. He is a likable fellow with an underdog story of his own that will dove-tail nicely with the Trump train as a good rational down to earth option as a red tsunami wave runs over the nation. It is both a real reality as well as a plausible scenario that the masses who have been driven crazy by lunatic leftist antics have had enough of the madness and would be expected to shift their sentiments and their votes to the conservative side as a way to try to right the ship, as it were.

But, can I point out one huge thing? We have had the Donald as our leader before. We know how this will play out. He will be a stabilizing force because he is the opposite side of the dielectric to the chaos and crazy-making antics of the lunatic left. As a nation, we have been spun around like a kid on a carnival ride over the past few years by all the crazy stuff the left and the media has unleashed on the nation. I don’t need to go into much detail on this, you know what I mean. Everything from the alphabet soup assault, to the lockdowns and the jabs of the plandemic, to the woke policies of DEI, and the endless environmental scam – we have all been through the wringer or the tilt-a-whirl ride and most people are mentally and emotionally exhausted and eager for some sanity to be restored. But here is the one thing. Let’s not forget that it was ‘The Donald’ who proudly declared himself to be the father of the vax. He was the leader who pushed the warp speed button on the ship and drove us headlong into the plandemic. His hands were not clean at all. We conservatives just like him better because of the other things he says and does. We appear to like his Supreme court nominations, and his talk of draining the swamp, and his embrace of Israel, and his commonsense words on social and domestic topics. But, don’t forget – don’t ever forget that line made popular by the poet Maya Angelou that says “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time”.

And if you are still reading, then I was not successful at pushing your buttons and offending you because I revealed that I am not a Trump worshiper. I don’t think Trump is our savior and a man that is to be worshiped. But, he clearly is important and pivotal. And, I for one, am relieved that the assassination attempt was not successful. Had that been successful, we would all be in a world of strife today and the dark future would certainly be darker. But, I do think we need to be highly observant and discerning as we move forward.

Because now we get into the less obvious and then the obscure effects that this event will most certainly bring about. The less obvious effects will be the impacts on the various people groups or stakeholders. What will this massive shift to in society? Already the left is even silencing themselves as the MSNBC network suspended their flagship show “Morning Joe” that represented almost 5 hours of their daily programming yesterday, on the Monday following the big event. It would seem that their top brass realized that the best thing they could do to limit their own potential of any self-inflicted wounds, would be to just go quiet and muzzle their usual line-up of attack dogs and incendiary media voices. This was a wise move – but they will be back soon enough despite the momentary calls for civility and toned-down messaging. They know that the nation is in no mood to hear Leftists share their real feelings – like the many that did take to the airwaves to express their godless sentiments – such as their disappointment that the shooter missed, etc. These are the truly lost masses that are so far down the slippery slope of evil that they can’t even see straight.

But let’s cut to the real area of focus. This event, whether real or planned, is a perfect distraction for the masses. This will energize a disengaged electorate to pay attention to the media and the election cycle so they will go along with the regular line up of events planned by the powers that be. There is about to be a power shift, a reversing of the pull of the dielectic – and they want us all to be watching and engaged with this drama as it plays out. Why, so they can usher in other more important things behind the scenes while we are all watching the hands of the magician on stage. This is when great changes are brought in under cover of darkness – like agreements with the WHO, or shifts in the banking sector, or new legislation turning over or expanding governmental authority. And again, remember what happened under the Donald’s last term in office – we all were taken for a ride down the MRNA highway, and most of the masses went along with lockdowns, the required vaccinations, etc.

Here is another famous quote: “ You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time – but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.” The powers that be know this well. There are the deluded masses, (those on the wide path that leads to destruction). These people tend to congregate around the leftist camp and they often make up the useful idiots who can be fooled all the time. Many of us see this and shake our heads wondering how these people even function in life. But, let’s not get too cocky and confident in our own ability to avoid deception. Because look at how many professing Christians or well educated people of any religious persuasion either believed or went along with the plandemic. I don’t mean to beat a dead horse or beat up on the victim of that global deception – but it needs to be pointed out that many people were fooled by that global charade. So, indeed they can fool almost all the people some of the time. So the question is – are we being fooled again?

This gets us to my article title and movie reference, where I want to focus on a tiny little prop from that movie, “The Truman Show”. Do you remember it? It was a little button worn by the romantic lead of the film that read simply “How’s It Going To End?” And that is the question everyone is wondering – isn’t it. Whether we are talking about the dramatic events on the day of the assassination event, or any of the other events plastered on our mainstream media news shows. They entice us with wars and rumors of wars, incendiary remarks and events, etc. and we are all left wondering and glued to our TVs asking the same question – How is this going to end?

People come to this website and youTube channel because they think we are prophesy and end times experts and we might be able to answer that questions. Perhaps we have some insight on how the biggest story of all time may end – namely how our world and God’s creation story of humankind will end. The good news is that that story has been written – it’s called the book of Revelation located as the last book within the Holy Bible. So, with often cryptic words, we do know or should know how the story ends. God wins and those who are on his team win. But, I don’t mean to gloss over the question people are really asking. What is about to happen next? Or how will this next episode end? Or how will this play out or end for me?

Now we are getting at the real important stuff:

That is the most important question you will ever face – how will your life end? When you die – is that the end? If not, then what comes next and will you end up in a good place?

So let’s try to gain some insight on the question and our situation by looking at this movie “The Truman Show”. There is a LOT more to this movie than you think.

First of all, notice the entire premise and compare it with our reality. The plot of the film is that people have created an entirely artificially constructed world that has been build up around the main character Truman Burnank. Even his name is artificial. You could say he was liberally born into a world of deception. While he is nursed and raised in what seems like a friendly world, in reality it is all a massive psyop, a massive deception. There is a dark overlord who appears to be benevolent – this is the character of the executive producer named aptly, Christof. (He is an anti-Christ figure). And he has nearly complete control of the air, the airwaves, the weather and the actors in the drama and he effectively manipulates and controls the reality in the created world in which Truman is placed and over which he has been given temporary authority. The movie is about a reality show called ‘The Truman Show’ where everyone except Truman is an actor. Truman lives in a massive surveillance society where his every move is watched, scrutinized, and manipulated. (Sound familiar) The other actors that make up his world are all living lies and pretending to live in a perfect little world with the goal of maintaining the illusion of reality for Truman.

As the film progresses, we observe Truman starting to wake up and realize that things just aren’t making sense in his world. Even though he has had the deception so well and tightly controlled around him his whole life, something inside of him, perhaps an allusion to the inner conscience or presence of God within us, something tells him that there is more going on that what he is being allowed to see and experience. Eventually, we realizes that he is more like a prisoner on an island – literally. And this only fuels his desire to seek the truth, to see the world from a larger prospective and risk everything including his life to find out what is truly real. Truman wants to become a True Man and in his heart he is on a quest for the truth.

In the film, there is a romantic plot twist were one of the background cast members develops actual real feelings for Truman and she breaks out of character a bit and makes a heart connection with Truman. The producers realize this and kidnap her character off the fake set. Truman cannot be allowed to experience anything real or come to understand that he indeed is a prisoner in their captive world if illusion. But, now that Truman finally felt something that is real like actual love, as opposed to the false relationship he has had with his staged perfect wife, or the fake friendships from his fellow cast members, this feeling only fuels his desire to escape the false reality that he finds himself living in.

The most revealing part of the film comes in a scene where the executive producer , Christof, is interviewed by a reporter and he reveals a profound truth – one that the producers of our fake reality show ought to reveal to us as well. Christof reveals their magic when asked how it is that they have kept Truman in the dark all these years – decades. He replies with this powerful quote:

“We accept the reality of the world with which we are presented”.

Boom. Did you hear that? In the film, where one person is kept under a strong delusion, the deceiver reveals his method. He simply bombards Truman with all sorts of false messages and inputs so that he comes to believe the lie – to believe the false reality that he has been presented. It’s so elementary and yet so profound. And it is happening to all of us too.

Like Truman, we have been born into a world of false reality. Yes, the props of your life are real and tangible, but Satan, the author of lies and the deceiver of the saints has been programming your mind and controlling your perceptions for a long time. Since you were born. Please read a prior article I posted on “A Minute to Midnite” titled “The Media and Prince of the Air-waves”. There, I spell it all out. Now, take a moment to reflect on our media and airwaves. We are all being programmed to believe and follow the contrived agenda, of those who control the scripts and narratives – which are a trap and are designed to lead us into a prison. Like the image on the other button from the movie – we need to Free Truman. We need to be freed ourselves so we can be come True Men and Women.

What does scripture say about Truth? John 8:31-36 says:

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.  And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Again – Boom. There you have it. Truth is what will set you free and your ability to find and apprehend truth is what will determine how your story ends. In the Truman show, the main character had to take a risk, make a journey and a leap of faith that ultimately let him to the truth. That there was a larger story and that he indeed had been born a slave living under the control of an evil little god – Christof. But the final scene of the movie ends with Truman climbing a stairway into the clouds and finding genuine love and a deeper reality. Of course, that was a movie and not a direct telling of the gospel, but the parallels make the point. We are all born into a world at war and a world of deceptions placed upon us by the spirit of Satan and anti-Christ that is at work in the world. There is a lot more going on above us in the heavenly realm that does affect our world and our perceptions. Our job is to not quench that still small voice of the Holy Spirit inside us that is promoting us and trying to tell us that there is more. There is a God who loves us and wants us to seek him with all our hearts. When we seek him, we will find him. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.”

So, as we look around and wonder just what the heck is going on in our world. Remember that the world is a carnival of falsehoods, that what is truly real is not of this world, but that there is a deeper reality that is running behind the scenes at all times. One deeper reality is the deception of Satan and the other larger reality is the rescue and redemption of the Truth of the Bible. And in that larger spiritual realm – God wins. And those who are on his side win along with him. That is how we become free – free form the bondage of sin and death and the falsehoods and deceptions that are being unleashed on this world through the media. Seek the Lord and he will be your savior, and do not put your trust in any politician or man that the world holds up as a savior. That is how the Anti-Christ will finally appear on this earth – as the solution that a weary and deceived people will be desperately searching for and eagerly accept. Don’t be deceived – we already know who the savior is. It is Jesus Christ and we are or can already be on his team regardless of what drama plays out on our TV screens.
