Abstract:
By now, I am certainly not the only one to point out that there were some distinctly anti-Christian images and messages portrayed for all the world to see during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympic games in Paris, France. So, I won’t wont spent much time recapping what many others have already discussed; but I do want to dive deeper and reveal some additional meanings, signs and messages that were communicated in visual form to a broad cross section of the global population. You see, evil never lets a good crisis, or propaganda opportunity, go to waste.
Evil is constantly attacking and influencing us all in the battlefield of our minds and souls. Keep in mind the concept I wrote about in my last article titled “How’s it Going to End? – We Accept the Reality of the World with which we are Presented”. So, when we see the images and messaging being presented on a world stage it goes well beyond merely the mocking of Christianity. This event went much further than that and was also a kind of solemn ritual as well – as a subtle signal sent to the rest of the world, particularly to those who perceive things on the demonic and on the heavenly side, that have spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear. So, when you watched the opening ceremony, did you see the great ‘falling in line’ and the fiery destruction of the earth, and did you hear Satan’s hymn being sung?

Deliberate Mocking of Christianity:

I am actually quite thankful that so many others paid attention and voiced their concerns over the mocking of Christian values. So, I won’t wont spent much time recapping what many others have already discussed; but I do want to dive deeper and reveal some additional meanings, signs and messages that were communicated in visual form to a broad cross section of the global population. You see, evil never lets a good crisis, or propaganda opportunity, go to waste. Evil is constantly attacking and influencing us all in the battlefield of our minds and souls.
Our eyes are a window to our souls:
Remember the eye is a window to our souls and what we take in through our eyes and are shown is the primary means that Satan uses to influence and indoctrinate us and the masses. Put on your spiritual sunglasses because we are going to look into the projector lens and see what messages the spirit of anti-Christ has been flashing before our eyes and presenting us with.
Keep in mind the concept I wrote about in my last article titled “How’s it Going to End? – We Accept the Reality of the World with which we are Presented”. In that essay, I explored the truths contained in a powerful line of dialog from the movie “The Truman Show”. If you recall, that was a movie about a central character named Truman, who is living in an entirely false constructed world – only he doesn’t know it. The film is about his journey of awakening to the truth of his larger reality. In this story, as in our story, there is a villain, and this is depicted in the form of the character Christof. Christof, as his name might suggest, represents Satan because he is the senior producer and mastermind of the entire Truman show. He is literally the god of the air and air-waves and the actual waves and he has power or holds sway over pretty much Truman’s entire world. Christof is the hidden hand and puppeteer that controls the not only the elements and people in the world around Truman, but he is constantly trying to control Truman’s mind. Truman even voices his constant battle in his mind and at one point even states out loud that Christof never had full control over his mind and inner life – though that is exactly what Christof was trying to control by manipulating Truman’s world by what he determined Truman would be exposed to.
Do you see the parallels to your own life yet. Christof (or Satan) is always attempting to shape the images that feed the mind and soul of Truman (and likewise of you), trying to keep him unaware of but living under a great deception. A great deception that is designed to rob him of his actual life and freedom and to live connected to God as opposed to Satan. The critical line of dialog I am referring to is when Christof is being interviewed and asked about the success of his hit ‘reality series’ and he is asked how he has managed to keep Truman in the dark about his actual reality. Christof gives us all a revelation of his method (which turns out to be the revelation of Satan’s method to deceive the masses via media and what they are exposed to). Christof provides what is really quiet a simple explanation. He says Truman has been kept under this grand delusion his whole life because ‘We accept the reality of the world with which we are presented.”
Wow – it’s really that simple. What a blinding flash of the obvious! Think about that. We accept what we are fed. In other words, we are highly susceptible to deception if we merely accept what we are fed and don’t do any critical thinking or personal research / praying. Can we think of any recent examples where the vast majority of the population accepted a false reality with which they were presented?! God has not left us here defenseless; we were given a mind and a soul and left his word and most importantly have the option of receiving his Holy Spirit so that we can see through the lies and deceptions.
But, in general, or the masses accept and therefore react and respond to the images and stimulation with which we are presented. So, think about what that means in terms of the media we see, the opening ceremonies we are shown, or the media that we have been constantly exposed to over the course of our whole lives. That includes decades of TV, radio, music, entertainment, books, your primary education via public schools or civic organizations, colleges and universities, corporate training and DEI classes, video games, internet, social media, Netflix, movies, talk shows and of course the mainstream news media. It has all been used to shape your life and your perception of God and your ultimate understanding of reality in much the way that all the characters on the fictitious Truman Show were impacting Truman from every direction from his very birth until he finally walked out of that movie set and into the deeper reality that was there all along, but blinded to by these lifelong illusions. He was being lied to and deceived to some degree from almost every direction, but something in his soul drove him to seek truth and have his eyes opened to true reality.
That is the world you also have been born into – Neo, or Mr. Anderson, depending on whether you are awake yet. You go about living your life, paying your taxes and yet all the while you are living under a spell or in a matrix – a deception that was pulled over your eyes to blind you to the reality that … you are a slave Neo. You have been fooled into thinking you are living free in a world, all the while fed a constant diet of entertainment and lies, but in reality, you are still connected to the matrix in a world that is trapping your mind and body and will eventually use you up like a battery and spit you out. Unless you wake up and come actually alive.
OK – I made a leap from one film reference into another great movie that illustrates a similar truth. But really this is the Christian worldview told in other forms. You have got to start seeing your life and the world form a more mythic prospective. Because myths are not untruths – in fact, they are stories told that often help to awaken us to the deeper realities that we fail to see with our natural eyes. Like the way CS Lewis or Tolkien use mythic storytelling to reveal deeper theological and spiritual truths, these films do the same. They are able to point you toward truths that the bible speaks about but are a stretch for us mere humans to see, grasp and understand. Because these truths happen at the spiritual level and in the spiritual realm – a realm we can’t see with our natural eyes or only by the senses and insights of our human bodies. The bible tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers in high places.
What does that mean? We are not merely inhabitants of these earthly bodies and will only live and have our being on this temporal earthly place. We are spiritual beings that will live eternally but we are currently living in fleshly bodies on this planet. God is spirit and has a much larger story unfolding and we also have a much larger story that we will play a part in. But the real action is what happens in the spiritual world. We will all go on living in that spiritual world and ‘having our being’ after we depart this world and enter into the next phase of our existence. Our bodies are inhabited by our spirit – the combination of our mind, will and emotion, but when we die and leave this earthly temporary physical body (a kind of tent for our soul as described in scripture) our spirit will ascend or descend and live on and on. The only question that we get a hand in determining in this life is whose team we are on and therefore where will we spend eternity. That’s all that is at stake – so no big deal – right. WRONG. That is everything that is at stake and it should be the biggest of deals to each and every soul on this earth.
This is the most fundamental of truths that Satan is always trying to deceive the masses about and get them to think that this life is all that there is and that there is no hope of heaven and nothing to look forward to. He wants us to think there is no God above us and no hell below us and therefore no repercussions or consequences of how we life this life. Therefore, why not live for today, do as thou wilt, and get all you can in this life – regardless of how it may harm others or even yourself. Because today is all that matters because this life is all that there is. That is the first and greatest lie of Satan and all his deceptions are designed to deceive us all to believe that lie and to pull us away from the deeper truths, realities, love and plan that God has established since the beginning.
Hence, this is why I bother to write these articles – to help others wake up to the deeper truths revealed in the bible. And think of their lives mythically and in terms of the really long game – your eternity with or without God, or shall I say, at peace and sharing in God’s love and blessings or at war and enmity with God eventually to suffer the consequences of that all-important choice. Are you His or not? Are you Saved or Not? How’s it Going to End? For you and for the world. Those hopefully will be very different endings, because the world will end very badly – we can read all about that in the revelation of the end, that also is at the end of the bible. But how things end for you is entirely up to you. Will you take Satan’s bait and fall for his lies, or will you seek the truth and seek it with your whole heart. Because if you do seek it with your whole heart, I can affirm that you will find it and find that Jesus, is indeed, the way, the truth and the life that will lead you to eternal life. The life that you have been searching for all your days.
There is a haunting song by a popular 80’s or 90’s rock group ‘U2’. And the words of the chorus reveal a lot about the quest we are all on. The line goes: ‘but I still haven’t found what I’m searching for’. This is a statement of the reality for most of the masses. They are groping around searching for happiness and fulfillment in this false world of lies, but never are satisfied. They still haven’t found what they were searching for. Worldly pleasures never seem to last of fully satisfy a deeper longing we all have. Most people live their lives never realizing that the longing in their hearts is not actually or ultimately for things of this world, but rather for the love of God and the joy to be found only in heaven. God placed eternity in the hearts of men. And that longing in our hearts is both a guide and an antidote to the onslaught of lies that the enemy tells and the barrage of falsehoods that God knew we would be subjected to. In fact, God allows this to occur to us.
We must be like Neo who rises up and is no longer trapped in the identity of Mr. Anderson but instead is transformed into a new man named Neo. We must be like Truman who awakens to reality and becomes a True Man, free from the bondage of the evil one. We must not ignore but follow that still small voice inside, that kernel of truth, that nagging tug that whispers to us in our quiet times and speaks to us when we read the bible that is trying to teach us that things in this fallen world are just not right or as they should be or were intended to be. Keep seeking, keep asking questions – Why is that? What is wrong? Am I being fed so many lies and is the truth being deliberately suppressed? Could the bible actually be true and contain all the answers to the issues and questions that are raised all around me? The answer is yes, the bible is true and God made a way out of this false world. Jesus actually came to proclaim and be the way. It may take braving a storm and risking your life; But those who save their earthly life will lose it, but those who risk their lives and count the trappings of this life nothing compared to knowing and living in the truth and the promises of heaven – these are the people on the narrow path that will find true and eternal life. They will finally find what they were searching for.
So back to the topic at hand. You must understand that we live in a fallen world that is filled with a variety of forces and influences that we are exposed to from our youth. And we are constantly being fed lies and half-truths that are designed to contradict the truths that God has revealed in His creation and His word. And the lies that come from Satan are designed to cast doubt upon God, deceive us, harm our earthly lives and ultimately drag us down into the pit of hell, unless we are awakened and are born-again, unless we are come to place our trust and faith in Christ and then are given spiritual eyes to see the hidden but more real world that actually exists and has been influencing us all our lives, and we are then able to see the spiritual battle that has been raging on the earth since the fall. This is how you can see and discern the images and messages that are being placed before our eyes by the Prince of the Air-waves. (Christof aka Satan)
The Olympic ceremony went well beyond merely mocking Christianity:
So, when we see the images and messaging being presented on a world stage and we see the inversion of God’s truth, it goes well beyond merely the mocking of Christianity. That, in and of itself, should not really have been a surprise. This is nothing new, but this event went so much further than that and was also a kind of solemn ritual as well – a subtle signal to the rest of the world, particularly to those who perceive things on the demonic and on the heavenly side, that have spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear. So, when you watched the opening ceremony, did you see the great ‘falling in line’ and the fiery destruction of the earth, and did you hear Satan’s hymn being sung?
Like many others, as I watched the opening ceremony I was, of course, struck by the brash lewdness and obviously disrespectful references to biblical concepts – but it was the grim reaper figure riding on a pale horse that got my attention, along with other images of a global take down. But what really raised the ire of most was the lewd reenactment of the famous painting of the last supper. Clearly, this was designed for its shock and offence value, and it accomplished that goal. Viewers were stunned not only because of the obese gay woman obviously mocking Jesus, who was also surrounded by transvestites impersonating the disciples; but also, by the nearly naked big blue Papa Smurf man clad only in a strategically draped garland of grape clusters who was served up like a stuffed turkey on a platter for guests to consume at the last supper table. I bet the woke stage designers and choreographers had a blast as they brought their evil little stunt to life! This is their evil contribution to the world – putting on a ridiculous but obnoxious stunt designed to mock and inflame Christians. But, in these last days where the faith and love of many is growing cold, the public outcry was actually encouraging. At least not every eye is blind and not every mouth is silent in the face of such obvious scoffing and mocking.
As I watched this all unfold on TV, I sat their thinking of the twisted people who planned, choreographed, and televised this evil spectacle, as well as those in the general public who were probably consuming and approving of such things. I thought, “go ahead and laugh it up, have your fun while you still can, but this will end badly for you”. I almost had a bit of smugness like Jonah had when he sat and looked down at Nineveh feeling glad in his heart that these evil people would pay feel God’s wrath. You see, Jonah was sent by God to warn these people and ask them to repent. He was supposed to want them to turn from their wickedness and avoid the wrath of God. But, he kind of wanted them to feel the wrath and didn’t think they would repent. To his surprise, they did repent and God held off on his plan to destroy the city. So, as I imagined these purveyors of lies and mockers of God and how they will indeed face the wrath of the True God, I tried to pray for them using the plea Jesus made for the scoffers and mockers that stood by and encouraged His captors to crucify him. Jesus still held out hope that they would repent when he said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”. I do pray for all these fallen sinners, these caught up in reprobate thinking that think this is a joke and live to mock and scoff Christianity. For they know not what they do and if they don’t repent they will suffer a terrible fate that I wouldn’t wish on any enemy – even enemies who vex us so. They still have an opportunity to repent, but the days are getting short and time is running out. I pray they stop believing the lies that the media creates around them as an echo chamber – seeking to drown out the still small voice of the Lord.
But, in the meantime, we need to be sober and alert, not drunk on the wine of this world. Note how they depicted the big blue man as ‘Bacchus’ – the ancient god of wine, of drunkenness and intoxication. That is the lie they want the whole world to get drunk on. Just keep drinking the spiked Kool-Aid and live for today. Do as thou wilt and pay no attention to those foolish Christians that say otherwise. That is their message. But, at judgement day, we all will be faced with that one all-important question – what god did we choose to follow, the god of this world or the God of the bible who created and is above this world? What did we do with the Messiah Jesus and was our choice deliberate or made in ignorance.
It would seem that these Olympic organizers and scoffers were quite deliberate but I am thankful that it is God’s role to judge each human heart and not my role or responsibility. All I can do is observe and discern whether other people’s actions are mere misunderstanding or deliberate rejection and rebellion against Jesus Christ and his ways. My discernment says that most of these people were quite aware of scripture and deliberately took part in what they did. It is interesting to see how some view even this. One seemingly solid Christian channel on YouTube actually sided with the lying narrative that the Olympic organizers put out and that evil voices on ‘The View’ said also – that Christians are over-reacting, that this was merely a depiction of a different painting of the Greek gods. And yet, some of my favorite atheists – Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying who don’t even come from a biblical worldview called it out immediately as a deliberate attack against Christianity.
In an excellent Darkhorse podcast (episode 236 posted on July 31, 2024) by Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying titled “A Coup Against Merit” – they discussed the opening ceremony debacle in some detail, and they confirmed how clearly this was deliberate messaging against Christians and frankly, against the whole concept of social decency and meritocracy. How is it that some so-called Christians can get duped by this, while proclaimed but intelligent atheists are not afraid to call a spade a spade? Bret shared proof by showing an on-line Instagram post under the name of ‘Barbara Butch’ (Ha Ha – surely this is not his/her actual name). Mr/Ms Butch is the obese gay-woman or trans-man who “portrayed” Jesus in the last supper abomination. In her post she was apparently boasting about the stunt calling it “The new gay testament”. So yes, it was deliberate. (She later took down the post and corrected her ‘error’ of saying the quiet part out loud by giving the official Olympic committee approved lie provided by the ceremony’s artistic director, a ‘Mr. Thomas Jolly’ – calling it instead a depiction of the other famous painting of the “Feast of Dionysus”.
In an interview, Mr. Jolly, who prefers the pronoun she, proudly explained that s(he) was of course, ‘proud to have been part of a show that did not rely on a series of French cliche’s – for example, “the Parisian with a baguette under their arm”. The celebration “could have been a postcard from 1930, but instead it was a photograph of France in 2024”. The article went on to defend the event saying that many agreed and have praised the ceremony for its creativity, style and showmanship. And yet the organizers expect the offended Christians to believe their false lying apology saying there was “never any intention to show disrespect to any religious group” but rather to “celebrate community tolerance”. And so it goes – lies to pretend to cover up more lies. But, as we know, when Satan speaks, he lies, and he speaks his own native tongue or language. And I would go on to say, the approving authority of such a globally viewed stunt goes way beyond the paid staff on the Olympic committee like Mr, Jolly. The inspiration and approval to produce this sort of display came up from the very bottom of the Luciferian organizational pyramid chart – from Satan himself. Remember Satan’s title as Prince of the Air:
Let’s not get too bogged down in the delusions of the useless idiots who are portraying and caught up in these grand deceptions. Keep your eye on the real villain behind it all – Satan himself.
Perhaps you have read one of my previous articles titled ‘Satan, Prince of the Air-waves’. In it, I shared the details of a word of knowledge that I was given many years ago (one of the very few times that the Lord suddenly spoke to me first using very audible words, then followed by a few sentences that felt like a quick download of statements designed to confirm deep truths). In that article, I described in detail how I was in prayer one evening, but was really crying out in frustration because of the filth and corrupted images I was seeing on cable TV and the world in which I was born into and where I was expected to raise children in. For whatever reason, after surfing around the channels to find something decent to watch, I had simply become so frustrated at all the filth on TV that I shut it off and started praying. As I prayed in my head to the Lord, my prayer became more of me venting and complaining because my soul simply felt vexed to the core after seeing so many shows that seemed to just denigrate people and institutions in our society that once had been held up as good and noble, but now were being mocked and scorned. I found myself asking the Lord or crying out in prayer saying, “Is Nothing Sacred anymore?!” And then suddenly – boom! God responded immediately, audibly, and forcefully saying “Exactly!” I was so shocked that I replied out loud saying “what?” And he repeated himself as if I had not heard it the first time, “Exactly!”. I had heard that the first time, but I exclaimed ‘what!’ simply out of sheer amazement to have actually heard an audible response to the prayers spoken silently in my head while staying all alone in a hotel room.
I won’t recap all the details, you can read them in my previous article; but the Lord went on to quickly explain things – like: He said He was glad I was seeing things as He saw them, that indeed there were upsetting things that were being taught to the masses that denigrated what was once sacred, and that media like TV and the internet are indeed tools completely controlled and used by Satan to pollute and deceive the minds of the masses. He went on to confirm that Satan has many goals and targets since his purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. Satan is described in the bible as a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Satan aims to destroy the souls of men, but his ultimate or primary target is always the Lord himself. He has that one singular goal and everything else is just a means to an end. Satan’s objective is to lead as many people away from the Lord as possible by as many creative means as possible.
So, I am thankful that there was a notable public outcry against the more obvious smear tactics of Satan and his minions. For a really good analysis of those and other satanic imagery, I would reference this article by Britt Gillette on Prophecy News Watch posted on July 31, 2024.

Britt reviews not only the recent Paris Olympic spectacle, but he reminds us of a whole litany of similar large public “celebrations”’ that really amount to Christ-bashing and the celebration of sin and evil. He reminds us of other large athletic events and half-time shows over the last decade that have similarly made a mockery of that which was once sacred – especially Christianity. Others have pointed out that, it is interesting and telling that mockers of people of faith only ever mock Christianity and they never mock Mohammed, or Buddha, or any of the other pagan gods. So, why the particular hatred of and focus on Christianity. As many have pointed out – it is because the forces of darkness only fear and are at war with one of the many religious traditions and doctrines. So, that warfare in itself helps prove which faith is the true and real one. That would be the one the evil powers that be are always attacking.
And finally, I need to apparently wrap this essay up and break it into two parts – because there is so much more to say, But, as I was doing final edits, I did stumble upon at least one video on YouTube that seems to get it right and see the larger picture. This is the first video I have watched by this content provider so I can’t vouch for anything else on his channel, but when someone speaks the truth, I am not afraid to cite and credit them and share it. Check out this video by Jonathan Pageu on a channel he devotes to explaining the symbolic world. This video is titles “Symbolism Explained: The Olympic ceremony is Worse Than You Thought.” He makes many of the same points I am making.
