I hope this is the right place for this topic. I just finished reading ‘Cortes’ by Richard Marks and though I wasn’t surprised by the mentions of human sacrifice I didn’t realize just how common it was among many, if not most, of the tribes. It seems likely that the problems facing Central and South America today are the result of a spiritual stronghold established by the drenching of their land through those sacrifices. Can we correlate other countries’ problems directly to past levels of human sacrifice?

That seems to make so much sense! One of those things that seems so obviously correlated that it’s a wonder I’ve never heard that connection made before.
I’ll be very interested to hear what others have to say.

I heard Timothy Alberino discussing his time he spent in the Amazon jungles and mentioned there are many dark forces working there. Probably does go back to the sacrifices in the past I would think. I also think the reason so many bad things are going on here in America is because of the huge number of abortions done here over the years. God has to be unhappy about this. There are consequences to actions. Something to think about.

John Little from The Shock Letter talks about Taiwan & the demonic activity there. India also as well as other Asian countries where you can feel the spiritual darkness. Papua New Guinea where they were head hunters is another country that is spiritually dark. We have places in NSW, Australia where I have felt the presence of darkness & cannot stay in the area. You only have to read the book of Daniel to get a glimpse of the demonic spirits over places. Also Paul speaks of it in Ephesians chapter 6 when he says in verse 12; For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. So it stands to reason that the sin committed by the people of the past with blood sacrifices etc there would be spiritual darkness over the land. Remember God said, Abel’s blood cried to Him from the ground. There must be countless saints whose blood cries out from the land for justice to be done. The land itself cries out to God for justice. Just my thoughts of how I see things…
