Joan's Hawaiwian dream

I was just reading Joan’s recollection of her Hawaiian dream and was struck that this was the “real McCoy” as they say in the States. Then what began coming to my mind were these thoughts. There are Christians that have had similar encounters in their past but have not experienced such things for quite some time because they have allowed cares of this world, fear, doubt, disobedience, condemnation and sins that might seem to fall into the category of “the little foxes spoil the vine”.
I felt God bring to mind things from my past when I felt and believed His Spirit had come on me with a dream or in times of confrontation with a demonic spirit. Then in my gut words of understanding came again to me clearly that God is doing an awakening work in His children’s heart. He is pointing out again so patiently that what is coming we can not withstand or survive in the spiritual state we have allowed ourselves to remain in, in past times.
God is saying “choose you this day whom you will serve,…me or your gray area flesh. It is time to trust me for deliverance and new assignments but you must make the choice and take the first step in obedience. Forget all the failed attempts and times of taking your hand from the plow in the past. I will now do a new thing for this new day and coming days of turbulence that lie just ahead. Those things that perhaps in and of themselves may seem to be allowable and of little consequence bring with them chinks in your armor,.. when if you are honest you know the enemy has access to your heart, mind and flesh through these gaps. I am calling you to repent, turn back with a full heart, a renewed commitment and to begin feeding hungrily on my word and pressing in like you mean it in times of prayer. I have things I want to do in your life and through you in the lives of others but until you submit and obey nothing but frustration, failure and destruction lies at your hearts door and your future. Now is the time of filling your lamp with my oil. Now is the day of salvation. Now is the day of war. Now is the time to gird your loins with truth. Now is the time to turn your face from the enticements, distractions and lies of the world. This is the season of true preparation. No man on their own knows at what hour these intensified trials and battles will arrive at their doorstep. Prepare now your heart and mind to obey, press in and be sheltered and guided by my Spirit. It is only in me that you will find true safety, provision, peace and victory. Do not delay….the hour is late!” Thank you Joan for releasing and sharing God’s Spirit’s move to the hearts of His people that read your account of His moving in your life.

Very encouraging words thank you Vlad, Sometimes I feel that I have wandered to far, to long & so it was good to hear that the past is forgiven, just start over afresh. They have encouraged me to keep on keeping on… It is so easy to get distracted. caught up in the day to day things. time just flies & the day is over & I haven’t done what I was aiming to do & so I get discouraged, so these words are a real pick me up & encouragement, to try again…

Powerful words, Vlad. I can echo much of that in my own life. I really felt that “shift” in the spiritual realm that others have been describing. I really felt Jesus call my name and pull me back onto the straight and narrow path and out of “lukewarm Christianity”. God bless you and thanks for posting.
