Stay safe and God bless!!Where I am is ok. It’s rained a fair bit over the last 24 hours…we hadn’t had much rain here for a few weeks till now, but it’s not very stormy here. Nothing to worry about. Some other parts of the country have it worse.

Buried in the big chill: River of frozen floodwater traps dozens of cars in frigid Boston while wind chill dips to MINUS 100 in New Hampshire and two dozen, including a 9-year-old girl, are confirmed dead
Boston suffered its worst flooding in 40 years on Thursday as the city was hit by Winter Storm Grayson
Images from Boston on Friday show cars stuck in frozen floodwaters that reach up to the hoods in some cases
One amateur video filmed in Revere, Massachusetts, the coastal city just north of Boston, showed a large sheet of ice covering the street
Experts say that a reason the flooding was so bad was because the storm hit at high tide
The high tide was also exacerbated by Wednesday’s supermoon
A supermoon is a full moon that occurs when the moon is closest to Earth in its orbit
The frigid temperatures – Boston’s high was only 15 degrees on Friday – will continue to blanket the area for the next 48 hours
That’s balmy compared to the -100 wind chill that can be felt on Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast United StatesA Minute to Midnite Administration
A Minute To Midnite Show HostJanuary 8, 2018 at 3:06 pm #5542Over the weekend we in Sydney Australia were/are battling high heat with the night only getting down to the mid 20C before shooting back up to the 40C range. Yesterday we topple all records & hit 47.3 according to the weather bureau in Penrith which is on the escarpment to the Blue Mountains. ✔
@weatherzone
Penrith’s 47.3 deg is highest official temperature recorded in #Western Sydney in ~80 yrs of recordsAll I know is that several of my plants didn’t fare too well with the excessive heat. I also stayed indoors with my aircon on to keep me cool. I do not perspire/sweat profusely, so end up like an oven turned up on high & my nose usually gives way and I feel faint so stay in the coolest place possible. Today is again supposed to hit the 40s but it is overcast this morning so my wall didn’t cop the blazing sun on it all morning which has made a difference to my rooms. For those of you in the northern hemisphere 47.3C is equal to nearly 120F. So I have been enjoying looking at your snowy pictures, although I do not envy you one little bit & thank the Lord that I wasn’t born in the northern hemisphere. I spent 5 days in the Snowy Mountains & that was enough for me. Fun for a brief holiday but not to live in for months at a time each year. Blessings
January 8, 2018 at 3:35 pm #5545Wow, Louise, that is really HOT!!! It gets hot here in Texas in the summer – definitely over 100F for many days – but I don’t recall ever hitting 120F.
This is certainly some crazy weather and I believe it’s to be expected as part of the end times.Stay cool and God bless you!

A Minute To Midnite Show HostJanuary 10, 2018 at 5:43 am #5558Louise I finally did get confirmation on those sharks freezing. On Point Preparedness did a video yesterday and mentioned it and included pictures. That is unbelievable! Weird weather going on globally for sure. Here in the US we have a terrible outbreak of the flu. Thank God I haven’t gotten it…yet. And pray I don’t. They were saying more people got the flu shot this year than any other and it did no good against this strain. They say it is the worst flu outbreak since 1918. We surely need to remain prayed up and as close to the Lord as we can possibly get. He will protect us and take care of us just like He did for the Israelite’s in the desert.
January 11, 2018 at 5:32 am #5584Extreme Volatility in Weather – Part of Climate Change?
Blog/Climate
Posted Jan 10, 2018 by Martin ArmstrongQUESTION: It is crazy hot here in Sydney the exact opposite of the extreme cold in the north. Is there an explanation at all for this?
ANSWER: Most people do not realize that the climate is actually “polar opposites” so historically when the North is dry, the South is wet or when the North is very cold the South will get very hot. Both the Arctic (North Pole) and the Antarctic (South Pole) are cold because they don’t get any direct sunlight. However, though the North Pole and the South Pole are “polar opposites,” they both get the same amount of sunlight but there is a major difference. The South Pole is a much colder than the North Pole and this also contributes to the difference in climate experience around the globe.
The Arctic is ocean surrounded by land whereas the Antarctic in the South is in fact land surrounded by ocean. Consequently, the ocean under the Arctic ice is cold, yet the water is still warmer than the ice! So the ocean warms the air which it cannot do in the South. Antarctica is dry despite the ice. Under the ice and snow, you find land with mountain ranges, not ocean. As with any mountain range, the higher you go, the colder it gets. The actual average elevation of Antarctica is about 7,500 feet (2.3 km).
The extreme heat in Australian, reached 47c (116f), is more akin to the Middle East in summer. I went trekking through the valley of the Kings in Egypt when it was 50c (122f) and I was the only one out and about while everyone stayed in the hotel. As the energy output of the sun collapses, we will witness growing extremes in different regions. The last time it was this hot in Sydney goes back to the 1930s during the Dust Bowl period in the USA, which hit in three waves – 1934, 1936, and 1939–1940. In truth, the sun cycle began to turn and in 1938 it reached the extremes.
The cycle of extremes in weather appears to be 86 years so this is on target. Australia is dry and ripe for wildfires the same as we see in California. This will contribute to the decline in food supply globally as well. We will see extreme opposites in weather between regions and particularly between North and South.January 11, 2018 at 6:35 am #5586Currently we have a warm winter in Germany; no snow and constantly around +8 Celsius ( +46 Fahrenheit). It´s basically an extended autumn so far. The Summer showed an average temperature of +18 Celsius ( +64 Fahrenheit) although there were some days above +30 Celsius (+ 86 Fahrenheit). So right now there seems to be no extreme volatility in our local climate – which is why I don´t understand exactly what is happening in North America.
January 14, 2018 at 6:35 pm #5633Are we currenty facing a minor cold blip or “OMG we’re all going to freeze to death and run out of food.” ANSWER: We are looking at an unbelievable decline in the energy output of the sun which appears to be the most rapid decline in nearly 10,000 years. And this rapid cooling will have some really bad consequences…
The Global Warming crowd may be setting society up for mass famine and death because they are deliberately pointing everyone in the opposite direction to get their portion of the $1 billion grants.
Natural disasters are the most disastrous when the energy output of the sun declines. There has been a fatal interaction of ecological, agricultural, economic, and political factors that seem to be setting the stage for at least a repeat of what is known as the Great Famine of 1315-1317.
The Great Famine started with bad weather in spring 1315. Crop failures lasted through 1316 until the summer harvest in 1317, and Europe did not fully recover until 1322. The period was marked by extreme levels of crime, disease, mass death and even cannibalism and infanticide. The crisis set in motion the great economic collapse that began during the fourteenth century. In our arrogance, we seem to believe we have conquered every aspect of the planet and many argue we can even alter the climate of the planet.
The collapse from the Medieval Warm period was rapid, but also deadly. When the climate turned down, what followed was suddenly bitter cold winters and drenching rains which then froze. Europe had expanded as the society always does in warm periods.

A Minute To Midnite Show HostJanuary 14, 2018 at 11:52 pm #5637In the medieval warm period we had almost the climate Italy has today, we could even grow wine at the shores of the Baltic Sea. It was pretty much a mini-Golden Age a thousand years ago.
As soon as the temperature dropped everything was spiraling down. Bad harvests lead to starvation, starvation lead to unrests, unrests lead to chaos, chaos lead to wars, wars lead to more famines plus epidemics. At the end 40% of the German population had died off. I think this gave the middle ages a bad reputation, but overall (i.e. for the most centuries) it has been a rather decent time in terms of economic and cultural wealth and growth.
So I´d take a some local warming over some local cooling.
January 18, 2018 at 10:58 am #5728State of Emergency record low temps in Louisiana today!
My comment: I see ( icy) that Southern US states like Louisiana, Texas, Alabama and Mississippi are setting record low temperatures today. It’s even colder than the last record breaking blast in December.
I checked out Ville Platte where Brook Ardoin lives and it’s due to get down to -11° C tonight…..that’s 13° F .Meteorologist Don Wheeler, a USA Today Network correspondent, said the following record low temperatures were set or tied:
Alexandria, at 12 degrees, broke its old record of 14 set in 1982;
Baton Rouge, at 14 degrees, shattered its old record of 18 degrees set in 1977;
Lafayette, at 16 degrees, broke its old record of 19 set in 1982;
Lake Charles, at 19, broke its old record of 20 set in 1982;
Monroe, at 12 degrees, tied its record set in 1982;
and New Orleans, at 19, broke its old record of 23 set in 1977.
Shreveport, though covered in ice, came close to a record at 12 degrees, but the record was 11 set in 1930.“The records fell like matchsticks,” Wheeler said. “It got even colder than the forecast because of the snow and ice covering that the models didn’t pick up.”
All state offices were closed Wednesday as well as most schools throughout the state.
Most roads and overpasses that were closed Tuesday following the snow and ice remained closed Wednesday.
Wheeler said Wednesday night temperatures won’t bring much relief, with 14-15 degrees expected in northern Louisiana, 16-17 in central Louisiana and 19-20 in much of southern Louisiana.
Temperatures will dip below freezing again Thursday night before the state begins to thaw out Friday.Record low temperatures for Jan. 17 were set or approached throughout the state this morning as Louisiana remained in the grips of the big chill while Gov. John Bel Edwards declared a state of emergency.
Though the snow and ice gave way to abundant sunshine Wednesday, the temperatures were frigid at dawn and many roads remained closed. http://www.thenewsstar.com/story/news/2018/01/17/brrrrrrrrr-record-low-temps-freeze-louisiana/1039852001/The mercury dropped to record lows overnight in several places in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi. It was 21 degrees (minus 6 Celsius) before dawn in New Orleans, breaking the city’s record of 23 (minus 5 Celsius), set on the same date in 1977. https://www.usnews.com/news/us/articles/2018-01-16/frigid-temperatures-trail-storm-dropping-more-snow-on-south
The frigid temperatures in Baton Rouge also broke records. Shortly before 7 a.m., the Baton Rouge Metro Airport recorded a temperature of 14 degrees, which beats the record low of 18 degrees set in 1977. It’s also the coldest temperature recorded in Baton Rouge since Dec. 24, 1989.
