I agree Joanie with all you said. I keep getting drawn back to FB myself for some odd reason I don’t even know what it is. Lust of the eyes I guess. My intentions are to just go to my “groups” of like-minded people and stay away from the mainstream stuff but for some reason I still find myself getting caught up in the so-called “news” in that right hand column of my page. Something catches my eye and I fall into the trap of clicking on it…maybe that is why they call it click bait! But today while reading a headline about the judge blocking Trump’s elimination of requiring employers to provide birth control insurance if it goes against their beliefs, one of the first things I came across was someone posting “keep your filthy god out of our lives.” My heart sank as I know this poor lost person is buying into the lie of the enemy trying to separate us from God. And my mind raced to find a nice way to point out this poor person’s delusion but the only think that kept coming to mind was you will be standing before this same God and then you will know how wrong you are. However this is not the best way to respond. So the dislike of FB came back even stronger than normal and I didn’t even bother to go to my eagle nest watchers or horse lovers groups I normally go to but just felt an overwhelming need to get off completely. What is this? An addiction? Shoot I quit drinking and smoking with less difficulty than breaking the bondage of this lie they call social media. I give all the glory to God that Tony and the rest of the team decided to start this forum. Thank you so much I now have a safe place I can come and begin making friends HERE! Keep up the great work and I will pledge myself to post and reply as much as I can so we can actively fellowship with each other and hopefully draw other disillusioned social media addicts here.

Google Hiring 10,000 Certified Morons to Further Throttle Free Speech

Google is escalating its campaign of internet censorship, announcing that it will expand its workforce of human censors to over 10,000, the internet giant announced on December 4. The censors’ primary focus will be videos and other content on YouTube, its video-sharing platform, but will work across Google to censor content and train its automated systems, which remove videos at a rate four times faster than its human employees.

Human censors have already reviewed over 2 million videos since June. YouTube has already removed over 150,000 videos, 50 percent of which were removed within two hours of upload. The company is working to accelerate the rate of takedown through machine-learning from manual censorship, according to YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki in an official blog post.

The hiring drive by Google is yet another advance in the campaign against any expression of political opposition.

Google is facing renewed controversy over its alleged intolerance toward conservatives at the company, after a class action lawsuit filed by former engineer James Damore disclosed almost 100 pages of screen shots of internal communications in which employees discuss sensitive political issues.
