Abortion is Okay for Humans but Not for Cattle in New Zealand

You know you are living in the “End Times” when…..New Zealand Cares More About Cattle Than People.

Someone from Church mentioned that they had heard that animal rights activists were asking for law changes on inducements for cattle (the veterinary term for cattle abortion I believe). I did a search and came up with this article in NZ (MainStreamMedia) from Oct 2014, “Greens-induced law is kinder to cattle” (as below).

Back then the journalist actually pointed out that there was more concern for cattle that there was for humans in the debate around abortion. The Greens party and the animal rights activists were right in behind an act of parliament and got a law change making it illegal for farmers to make cows have abortions……………. When I read this Romans Chapter 1:21-24 which says;

21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.

It turns out some of us care more about cows than we do humans.

It’s not because farming is the backbone of our economy or that dairying is our biggest bread winner. But the facts are undeniable. Too many of us care about cows, not people.

I was doing a story on the bull sales. They went well this year for a couple of reasons. One was because the meat schedule is strong. The other is because of the new induction rules.

From June 1 next year farmers are no longer allowed to induce their cows. Are you as confused as I am?
