That was an awesome show & I am looking forward to listening to Doug again. He sounded like a genuine Christian Pastor who literally fell into this area & has been used by the Lord. He sounded like a very humble man but knowledgeable. I shall go to his page & watch some more of his work, especially his preaching which is the best way to judge the man I think! I ended up listening to it twice tonight while I ate my tea & then made a birthday card up for a cousin. It was extremely good.
One thing I will add though, is when I was reading the first three chapters of Deuteronomy earlier this year, I discovered that God not only used Israel to kill of the giant’s but also before them He used two other nations, Moab & the sons of Esau. It is all so matter of fact, but the generations after 1900 have made it all so mysterious. That chap he talked about who wrote a book in the 1800s was just one of many back then who wrote about it & believed it. I have a book on kindle written by Henry Stratton Guinness who was a well known preacher & church historian from back in the 1800s also wrote much about it & also the history of the RC church. Good reading, I recommend his books as you will learn much especially how the church up until recent times did not believe in the early rapture. That story was started by the Jesuits in order to make the RC church sound good. So thank you Tony, looking forward to the continuation of his story…
