Should We as Christians Be Taking These Things More Seriously?

Sasquatch And The Supernatural.
For me this area of Sasquatch and the supernatural is the most intriguing. Being a Christian, I’m accustomed to having a supernatural worldview. The Bible is a book of the supernatural, and there are many events and narratives in the Bible that can only be viewed through the lens of the supernatural. There are many people that just regard Sasquatch as an animal, albeit a very smart and elusive animal that constantly evades detection and capture, and there seem to be two distinctive camps amongst Sasquatch researchers. One camp says that Sasquatch is a physical flesh and blood relic hominid, these folks are usually scientists/academics who view things from an evolutionary perspective. The other camp view Sasquatch as a supernatural entity with supernatural abilities, see A Flash of Beauty video – Paranormal Sasquatch Part 2 for a well-presented documentary on this.
However, there is an element of Sasquatch reports that seem to show Sasquatch has supernatural abilities that defy rational explanation. Many secular Sasquatch investigators dismiss these reports out of hand as being the invention of overactive imagination, or the need to sensationalise events to create intrigue, and make an extra dollar or two. I don’t deny that there are these individuals that do this, many of the of the long standing Sasquatch investigation programs have an element of drama that keep the viewer entertained and committed to viewing the next series. Of course, this is how they make money to keep the expedition series alive, whilst advancing the cause of Sasquatch research!!
For all the years that Sasquatch has been investigated and hunted, and with all the recent considerable advancement in surveillance technology, we don’t have any really conclusive proof that Sasquatch is a real flesh and blood creature. How is it that Sasquatch can evade very sophisticated thermal and infrared technology? Sure, images have been captured of ape-like animals in areas that no known simians are thought to inhabit, but there does seem to be some compelling circumstantial physical evidence, (given that this is not faked for dramatic purposes).
There is something strange about this evidence that would have the most hardened Sasquatch researcher questioning how these creatures evade prolonged detection, and interaction. How Sasquatch manage to avoid being captured with all our advanced technology, infra-red imaging, night vision, tracking devices and drones equipped with all this advanced tracking technology, is nothing short of incredible.
Satellite tracking in terms of the military capability will be well beyond what civilians will be permitted to know. Military tracking via satellite will certainly be able to detect these creatures, and surely the US military will already be aware of them. I understand that we can track groups of endangered animals in the wild in areas that are remote. I watched a video recently on Sasquatch called First Hand Sightings Of Bigfoot – Boogeymen – Bigfoot, a gentleman named Keith Benson (a wildlife biologist) speaks to this from the 35:14 mark to the 37:06 mark in the video. Keith discusses this very idea. So, if we can find and track other smaller animals, why can’t we find Sasquatch with all this tech?
This is where looking to the supernatural and Biblical worldview may yield some answers. Let’s look at the indications and evidence that points to Sasquatch possibly having supernatural abilities.
Reported Sasquatch Supernatural Abilities.
First, we need to understand what the word supernatural means. Supernatural as defined by the Brittanica dictionary is as follows; “unable to be explained by science or the laws of nature: of, relating to, or seeming to come from magic, a god, etc.” My definition is as follows; Supernatural abilities that defy rational scientific explanation that seem to encompass reported events and abilities displayed by Sasquatch.
I doubt I would have much interest in Sasquatch if it weren’t for the weird stuff that seems to happen around them. I can understand why a lot of people who come from a secular worldview dismiss Sasquatch & cryptids in general as a figment of overactive imaginations, or of “Groupthink”, or the desire to believe cultural ideas that seem to have very little basis in reality. So, why is the Sasquatch so elusive, why is there so little concrete evidence of this creature, why do researchers and hunters have so much difficulty in capturing definitive proof?
The answer to this question may be far stranger than most people realize. As a Christian, my world view is shaped by more than just physical natural environment, it is shaped by a Biblical supernatural world view, it is shaped by God’s word.
Before we look into the Biblical supernatural aspects that may give us a clue as to what Sasquatch is, and why it may be so elusive and supernatural, let’s look into the some of the reports of supernatural occurrences attributed to Sasquatch and the areas they are reported to inhabit.
There is a good documentary that looks at the supernatural aspects of the Sasquatch called Paranormal Bigfoot | Supernatural Phenomenon Documentary. Tony Merkel of “The Confessionals Podcast” is a Christian who has views of Sasquatch very closely aligned to my own, he speaks on his beliefs from the 1:24:10 to 1:27:44 mark in this video. Another good Documentary Channel is A Flash of Beauty, (already mentioned earlier in the article) they produce good quality documentaries on Sasquatch related phenomena, however I would offer some caution as a Christian, as a lot of their content has a “new age” occult focus.
Specific Reports Of Supernatural Paranormal Sasquatch Abilities.
Sasquatch have been reported to be able to cloak or hide themselves, either blending in to their surroundings with some kind of camouflage, or they have been reported to just disappear into thin air. Some people have reported a type of portal opening that the Sasquatch walks through and disappears, perhaps some kind of teleportation or trans dimensional phenomena, moving from one dimension to another.
Aside from the huge physical presence and terrifying behaviours that Sasquatch can exhibit at times, Sasquatch have been reported to be able to use sound or some type of vocal or psychic means to instil fear into people or infrasound. There are many accounts of people reporting a feeling of absolute dread or fear or uncomfortable vibrations in their bodies on encountering Sasquatch. Others have reported having an unnatural sense of overwhelming fear prior to having an encounter with Sasquatch, the sort that raises the hair on the back of your neck. They deem this fear unnatural because there was no apparent reason for this at the time of experiencing the fear, they also report the sense of being watched by something without being able to identify the source. This sense of unnatural fear reminds me of encounters I have had with demonic entities, and this may be somewhat telling.
Sound can be used by animals such as tigers (low growls, infrasound) to immobilise their prey, and it may be that Sasquatch can do this and some to create a sense of fear and panic in those they encounter.
There are also reports that Sasquatch can “mind-speak”, or use telepathy, with direct mind to mind communication. Many people report Sasquatch projecting benign thoughts and feelings at them, you know….. “we come in peace, we mean you no harm” type thoughts, as well as “get out of here, you are not welcome” menacing type thoughts and behaviour. Generally, if you have an encounter with a tall two to three metre creature of massive physical proportions, and said creature is growling and snarling and throwing rocks at you, plus instilling a chilling sense of fear in you, I don’t know about you, but humanly speaking, I’d want to be getting out of there as fast as I could.
Some have reported Sasquatch as having the ability to change their form or shape shift moving from one form of animal to another, or into an orb, however, these reports seems to be rare. They also are reported to be seen with eye glow, more specifically glowing red eyes (occasionally some other colours). This is distinct from eye shine (Tapetum Lucidum) exhibited in other animals such as cats, birds & deer etc. Essentially eyes that reflect light. Red eye glow in Sasquatch is reported often and makes them very unusual in this respect.
Another effect that is reported as being associated with Sasquatch is the failure to capture photo images of Sasquatch on Trail Cams, also the failure of electronic equipment, cameras and battery packs (often brand new). This type of equipment failure has also been reported by those who investigate the paranormal. I have often heard this type of equipment failure discussed in Sasquatch documentaries in relation to researchers, or investigators setting up their cameras and audio to find that it has failed, or the batteries having drained completely. It is possible this could be put down to routine failures, however it seems to happen when there is reported Sasquatch activity at the time of the failures. Once again this might suggest that sasquatch have some ability to sense detection equipment, cameras, and have some ability to interfere with electromagnetic fields in some way. Sasquatch also seem to be able to avoid being photographed by trail cams where other animals are photographed by the same equipment.
If Sasquatch were just ordinary animals, as elusive as they seem to be, we should be able to capture their images on trail cams. However, it would seem that Sasquatch has an unnatural ability to sense cameras and other detection equipment and, in some way as mentioned, render these ineffective.
Other types of supernatural phenomenon that seem to occur around Sasquatch, the presence of orbs, UFO activity and paranormal activity. Some of the Sasquatch UFO encounters and reports seem to get quite bizarre, and these accounts can enter the realm of farfetched conspiracy theory. For the most part I tend to be careful and try to exercise discernment in these types of accounts, as some sound like very fanciful tales.
Orbs, spherical multicoloured balls of light seem to be found in areas known for Sasquatch encounters. Nobody really seems to know what they are. Some in the paranormal community seem to think they are spirit beings, whilst those in the scientific community seem to think that they are balls of electrical plasma energy. There are many good videos of orbs to be found on YouTube, these seem to be much more common and easily obtained than Sasquatch footage, however, they are often associated with people who hold “New Age” beliefs.
This is a short 3 minute video from Expedition Bigfoot showing what appear to be small orbs tripping a motion activated camera and here is another 35 minute video from the “A Flash of Beauty” site recounting a very bizarre event, where two gentlemen witnessed a Sasquatch hunch down on the side of the road, change colour and become an orb that streaked away into the sky.
UFOs and Sasquatch are reported to be connected in some way, although this may be a connection to areas of high paranormal activity, i.e. ghosts, orbs, other cryptids etc. Areas such as Mt Shasta in Northern California seem to be an area associated with Sasquatch, UFOs and much supernatural activity, as are Skinwalker Ranch in Utah and Sedona Arizona. All of these areas boast a good deal of paranormal activity as well as a whole bunch of “New Age” folks to boot, but they also have reported Sasquatch sightings and activity. There are reported similar types of manifestations common to Sasquatch and UFO encounters that both exhibit i.e. the manipulation of time, space and electromagnetic fields, very elusive covert behaviour, projection of intense feelings of fear (listen to this interview with Chase Kloetzke from 8:20 – 23:20 mark), they can also be reported to project intense feelings of love and benign friendship, and telepathy.
From the many documentaries I have watched, the Sasquatch UFO connection appears to lead into the area of the occult and paranormal, particularly for those who are doing the active research.
A Flash of Beauty have a number of longish documentaries if you have the time (see here 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5) on Sasquatch telepathic abilities, as mentioned previously in this article, referred to as Mind Speak. No 5 video from “A Flash of Beauty” videos is a psychic medium who claims to speak telepathically with Sasquatch. Be aware that the people in these documentaries have “New Age” “Occultic” beliefs that are contrary to scripture (more on that later).
Many of the people who embrace the idea of communicating with Sasquatch are in some way involved in psychic mediumship (necromancy) either directly or indirectly. They see Sasquatch as an advanced spiritual being who can teach us how to attain some form of enlightenment, they speak of intense feelings of love from Sasquatch, as well as wisdom from a creature that has mastered the natural environment. Many witches look to interact with Sasquatch as part of their pagan nature based religion. Some references to this may be found in “A Flash of Beauty” documentaries.
A man called Rich Germeau (also from “A Flash of Beauty”) has two documentaries, Part 1 & 2, where he discusses his experiences with Sasquatch. Rich talks about how his life has been affected by Sasquatch encounters, and some of the occultic paranormal events that took place i.e. The Hitchhiker Effect (more to come on this). By the end of his second documentary, Rich sounds quite despondent, although he has been drawn into seeking Sasquatch, he also becomes quite repelled by his experiences.
After watching many videos of people giving lifelong accounts of their experience of Sasquatch, this is not uncommon for them to feel despondent and to want to give up their research and efforts to contact Sasquatch. It is interesting that the paranormal occultic events seem to be the driver for this. There also seems to be an element of selective targeting of particular people by Sasquatch, they are told by “mind speak” or by mediums channelling the Sasquatch, that the Sasquatch have selected them for contact. This may be verified by relaying a piece of information only known to that person. It sounds a bit like the type of things clairvoyants do when relaying messages to people from “so called” dead family or friends.
Many people report that they feel as though Sasquatch is “just messing” with them, or even manipulating them to get some reaction from them. These paradoxical behaviours from Sasquatch definitely mess with people’s heads, Sasquatch seem to work really hard to elude being seen or captured on film, yet, they toss large boulders at people, throw logs, screech and growl, peep through windows, steal food and livestock and bang on house walls.
It is my opinion, but the Sasquatch seem to be restrained in their behaviour towards humans. A creature that is 2 to 3 metres tall (7 to 9 foot tall), weighing 350 to 500kg (700 to 1,000 lbs), heavily muscled and very athletic, should have no trouble in overpowering or taking out a mere human. But they choose to play hide and seek, taunt and tease. Why is this?
This next element of supernatural paranormal Sasquatch behaviour for me, is the most chilling. It is called the Hitchhiker Effect. This paranormal effect is in general where somebody will interact with the paranormal (Sasquatch), (not necessarily of their own making) and it will follow them home in some way. They experience strange paranormal phenomena, it may take the form of hearing strange noises, orbs, UFO sightings, things being moved in the house without any reasonable explanation, footsteps when no one else is present……….. you get my drift (watch the Rich Germeau videos previously discussed and linked in the article to get an account of this). I need to add that it is very rare that people who have unintended encounters with Sasquatch will experience the “Hitchhiker Effect”, it is mostly those that seek interaction with them.
In the case of Sasquatch, it seems that people will have a reported encounter with Sasquatch, these may be good or unpleasant, and on return to their homes, they will experience similar things such as wood knocks, Sasquatch noises (vocalisations), rocks being thrown at their houses, their children being approached by “Big Monkeys” (really bad), Sasquatch peering through windows, seriously bad Sasquatch smell and strange paranormal phenomena associated with ghostly hauntings or poltergeist activity.
This is the most disturbing aspect of reported Sasquatch behaviours and to me reeks of paranormal, occultic, demonic activity. Scott Carpenter (as mentioned earlier in the article and now deceased) has two videos discussing the “Hitchhiker Effect” and both are well worth watching. They are as follows; They Will Follow You Home aka “The Hitchhiker Effect” and Sasquatch – UFOs – Paranormal Skin Walker Ranch- How The Hitchhiker Phenomenon Links Them All. The second video of around 30 mins is probably the most relevant as Scott gets into quite some detail on the reasons for the “Hitchhiker Effect” and Scott outlines his beliefs from a Biblical perspective.
Here is a video from Tobe of “A Flash of Beauty” called Meet Tobe Johnson. Speaking of the “Hitchhiker Effect”, this video illustrates it perfectly. I’m astounded that Tobe and his fellow ‘squatcher’ have no concern over the paranormal events that followed them home, it sent up huge red flags for me. They just seemed to see it as a good and normal thing. These guys need prayer, I don’t think they realise the danger that they have placed themselves, their families and followers in.

This is where things start to get interesting if my speculations are correct. I also discuss how this ties in with the planned Satanic Deception.
