Set in beautiful scenic surroundings, building an off-grid cabin “escape” is enjoyable but also challenging. There are many things to consider if you plan on doing it. What sort of cabin do you want? How will you deal with toilets, showers, washing dishes, cooking, lighting, keeping warm and other questions.
