Was George HW Bush Really Friend Of Israel?

I have read many articles recently declaring that the former US president George HW Bush (very recently deceased) was a friend of Israel, I have never been certain that this is so. I came across this article today in "Breaking Israel News" that outlined his less than friendly stance toward Israel. I will let the article speak for itself.
