Apparently Notre Dame in Paris burnt out. Sad to see one of our most iconic cathedrales in ruins.
At least it didn´t collapse in free fall speed and neither did any other building implode out of solidarity. So it could have been worse I guess.
In the last years Disney remade a lot of his animation classics as live-action films (The Jungle Book, which was decent, or now Aladdin with Will Smith as a not so decent looking blue CGI genie). But now they have to scrap that one remake involving Notre Dame because some of the musical scenes are getting pretty akward.

So who´s to blame? The usual suspects in no particular order:
- Hunchbacks
- Gypsies
- Australians
But in all seriousness, right now I´m not aware of any deep political or religious significance or implication of this event (and I didn´t bother to check Nostradamus). But you never know these days what surprising twists to expect in the aftermath.
