During the football world cup, these ads have been showing : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8EcrSjb85o Taking a while to get my head around all this crypto currency and blockchain and IoT (Internet of Things) stuff, and I'm usually not too bad with technology! Tried looking at the company website FAQs to see if I could be any the wiser... I'm not sure I am! https://www.hdactech.com/en/etc/faq_list.do I know they want all these devices linked to the net and then "you" can control how much energy something is using, or how much water it uses (as shown in the ad)... But I think this also means that "they" can also say "Sorry, you've used the washing machine enough this week. You're blocked until next week..."? Anyway, I've never seen this kind of ad before.
