A Warning to the Church – A Dream I Had Last Night
Last night I dreamed that I was in a house, and I was with some people though they were unfamiliar to me. Outside of this house, a great and mighty storm raged. It destroyed everything surrounding the house, but the house still stood. As the storm was raging on, a knock sounded on the door. I opened it up to see a man and immediately knew I should not let him in. So I slammed the door, but when I left the room, one of the other people in the house let the man in and no matter what I did, I could not get the man to leave the house. The man was very crude and though he completely ignored me, he was loved by the other people inside. Soon after, another knock sounded on the door. It was another man, one whom I became afraid at his presence. I knew he was of evil weal, more so than the first man, and yelled at him to leave immediately. Keep in mind there was a very dangerous storm raging outside. Before I could slam the door shut, the first man came behind me and happily recognized and welcomed the second man. Some of the people of the house came and also invited the second man in, ignoring my protests and warnings. I found myself running up in the house's attic to hide from the two men and wait out the storm. Not long after, one of the people in the house, a woman, came up and in great anguish told me to come with them outside to see everything, that the storm was finished. I told them that we shouldn't leave the house while those two men were there, but agreed to step outside - though not away from the house. When we stepped right outside the front door, I saw damage and destruction the likes of which shook me to the core. But amidst all the damage were two swans - a mating pair. They were as white as snow and not a feather was out of place. I thought, how amazing that these two swans survived such destruction! The two swans noticed me and immediately they morphed into two pure white fluffy sheep, that came and sought out my attention. While I was petting these sheep who had the softest wool I had ever felt, I remembered that inside of the house were those two men and I became afraid for the sheep, the house, and the people within. But before I could go back into the house to defend it, though I honestly had no idea what I was going to do, the woman who had brought me outside demanded that I see what more damage had been done. I very reluctantly went with the woman, warned her of the danger of leaving the house with those men, and ignoring my warnings, she brought me to where a school and park once was. The entire area was deep under brown dirty flood waters, surrounded by complete destruction and dead bodies. I saw it and was emotionally numb to it. The woman however, broke down in hysterics and was asking why and wished death upon herself. I told her that it was beyond our control, that it happened and the best thing we could do was take each day at a time and protect that which was still intact - meaning the house. She ignored me and continued to wail, so I left her there and quickly rushed back to the house, full of fear for what I might find when I returned. When I got back to the house, the two men were gone and they had taken every valuable thing in the house with them. The remaining people of the house were like zombies, uncaring and in an almost dead-like trance. I was very distraught that everything had been taken and rebuked myself for going with that woman and leaving the house unprotected. That is when I woke up.
What I think it may mean: I think that the house is the church and the people inside, our brothers and sisters. The storm outside is the events of this world, the wars, natural disasters, and evils that will happen. The first man to knock was a spirit of carnal living disguised as a good spirit - that was deceptive just enough that the church accepted it, but that I knew was wrong. The second man was evil incarnate: the anti-Christ, the Beast, Satan, and everything surrounding those entities. Because the church brought in the first spirit, they were willing to bring in the second without a thought. The two swans are the true children of Yeshua and represent his righteousness. They turned into sheep because we are the sheep of the Father's flock, and Jesus is our Shepherd. Despite all the ugliness and evil in the world, there are the Redeemed, HIS remnant. I think that the sleepers in the church and those who call themselves Christians, but follow the world, will mourn and focus on the atrocities that happen. But, we, HIS redeemed, need to focus on keeping ourselves focused on Jesus and that which truly matters. I feel like God is telling me to warn my brothers and sisters not to follow the world and allow the carnal spirit into their lives. However, I don't know quite how to do it. In my dream, it seemed I was ignored despite my warnings. So, is God telling me that they won't listen and not to bother? Or should I start warning my brothers and sisters (in my own church specifically)?
I strongly believe in testing the spirits and if you feel I have interpreted my dream in error, feel free to say so. I pray that the Holy Spirit give all of us discernment and wisdom concerning these things. I never tell anyone other than my husband about the dreams I have, yet this time is different. I feel very compelled to share this dream. Is it prophetic? Maybe, maybe not. So what is your thoughts? Opinions? Interpretations? Keep your eyes wide open Brothers and Sisters. God is calling His remnant out of the world, for though we are in the world, we are not of the world. We must take up our cross, leave everything behind, and follow Jesus. The more we do this, the more strange, radical, weird, and insane we will become in the world's eyes. We will even be hated by those in the church. Jesus said as much. It saddens me to think about what is coming, what is already happening, but I have the supreme confidence and hope in my King, Jesus, and the God of Heaven's Armies who sits upon the throne of Heaven.
